This is going to be the season they knock down the final door.

Front left burner. SO damn excited that basketball has begun!! I'm looking forward to attending The Basketball Tournament next month - even though it's just for fun. I have already renewed my season tickets too!

Hopefully not too many opponents will have 7 foot centers considering Houston was starting to lose the rebounding battles this past season. McFarland is 6’10 so that should help because the hard truth is….height matters in the middle. Stay healthy and hopefully the Cougars can make it past the Sweet 16 this coming season.

I am cautiously eager for the unknown football product but absolutely can't wait for basket ball. Will they be doing anything like last year's pre-season trip to Australia? GO COOGS!!!!!!!!

I’m strategically obtuse with it according to the pot or pan I am using! Nevertheless, GO COOGS!!!

Hoping they stay healthy. I’ll worry about the other things when they come but for the love of god can this team be legitimately healthy come March Madness.

"Basketball is back!" Brings a big ol smile to my face. It seems we know what we are going to get out of LJ, Wan, Ja'Vier, JoJo, Emanuel, looking for steady leadership and growth from all of them. We hope we get an improved version of Milos and he can be good enough at PG (I think we have to expect a downgrade to some degree). We hope the young guys can contribute. I think the real wildcard this season is Terrence. Possibly the most naturally talented player, if he can bounce back from injury he could be a key to pushing the Coogs to new heights. As for the new Big 12, I'm more concerned with what is building at Arizona State than at BYU or Cincy currently.

Of course Robert’s needs to stay healthy, but all these players need to play throughout the season so their bodies are not beat down at seasons end,That will be in Coach Sampson’s control.

Of course it is challenging… Houston had a ton of injuries. If we stay healthy we … ARE A GREAT TEAM. Won’t win all of our Games but I pick us to win the Conference ..period.
