The XFL kickoff is the kickoff that the NFL is going to. The XFL no longer exists it merged with the USFL to form the UFL. The UFL does not do the XFL kickoff that the NFL is changing to. But if you pull up any XFL games from 2023 you will see the XFL kickoff that the NFL is changing to.

The UFL kick returns are just the old NFL returns. And they only ever show them in highlights if they're good.

USFL AND XFL still exists and are split up the roughnecks are now technically part of the USFL conference while the roughnecks are now part of the USFL no different from the East and west or AL and NL

@@derekrau8236 Aj is alright but yea exactly at this level of play he is a Moss or Johnson. AJ is what he is a backup/3rd string NFL QB or one of the best QBs in the UFL. It's all about the level of play

I am enjoying this league for the most part. So glad to see St. Louis and Birmingham with great teams and fans (since the NFL seems to ignore these markets). I keep seeing reports of certain markets being "paused" and others considered for expansion. I hope the "paused" teams will include Arlington and Houston. Texas doesn't need 3 teams - especially in markets with well established NFL teams and fan-bases and currently the teams are losing (yes I know Arlington won a championship but with a losing record - hope that never happens again). How about expanding/relocating to under-served markets that would really support a spring league team? Not sure what those might be but maybe Louisville, Portland, (bring back the Sea Dragons for Portland - I want to see those uniforms again!) San Diego (this could be a relocation for the New Orleans Breakers - also very cool unis), Salt Lake City, OK City, Canton? Just spit-balling here. Or maybe I should say "scrambling." Anyway, thanks for posting these recaps. Hope this league is able to stick around.

I agree 100 % with you and also in smaller stadiums like MLS and small college stadiums. Get a tax break for customizing the field each week and finally change Michigans colors. They have the same uniforms as Birmingham virtually. Phoenix is a solid market for a spring team due tk snow birds visiting the city each year. Agree on San Diego as well. The Chargers did that fan base dirty. Just wouldnt know where theyd play where the crowd would look good on TV. If Jerry wanted his own feeder team he could buy the Renegades and move them to Frisco and have them play in the MLS stadium and call them the Texas Renegades. Theyd look more legit.

I love this STL team, even as a Ravens fan.

I really hope someone in the NFL takes notice of Hakeem Butler and what hes doing this season in the UFL. This man deserves an opportunity playing WR on an NFL roster. He can easily be a 2nd or 3rd option on somebody's depth chart.

I didn't understand it either. I know they didn't punt it so Houston didn't get the ball back, but I don't get taking the safety.

Why is Isiah hennie not being played he's a remarkable receiver... he should be in the NFL.

the real talented teams of the UFL are showing and I'm loving that. Like the Battlehawks, Stallions, and the Brahmas. But the teams that are losing really need to get the QB situation figured out, there needs to be a team that trades for Matt Corral 2 other guys I'm thinking of that the UFL needs to try and sign if they don't make NFL rosters are Taulia Tagovailoa from Maryland and Tanner Mordecai from Wisconsin. Other wise those teams are going to be a killer for the league. I get that QB isn't the whole team, but watching how some of these QB's play in the UFL is becoming a really killer.

I’m not saying Ik who the best roughnecks qb is but he definitely ain’t on the field give 2 his chance Nolan Henderson better then any qb they got and at 1-4 I don’t see why not start him I can tell you first hand was friends growing up with Nolan Henderson went to school together all the way through school in Smyrna Delaware won us 2 straight state titles too and has all our school records

If only everyone could get behind their own spring football team from their city like the battle Hawks fans do.. but that's also because St Louis f***** him over and took the Rams to LA lol so that craving football how many of these UFL teams should be packed like the battlehawks games are. And we need to bring the other eight teams that didn't come over and to the UFL because a 16 Team league would be a thousand times better than this 8 team League plus you can extend the season a bit and you would get more viewership and a better chance for NFL teams to scout talent

I heard that several free agent college players signed with UFL teams following the draft last week. If the UFL can stay around for a few years you might see more players who don't expect to get drafted, sign with UFL teams and get some more in game reps in hopes of being invited to an NFL camp.

I believe they have a long term vision after having several case studies of previous spring leagues in the past. I'd be surprised if they were just money dumping or looking for a quick tax write off. And theyve signed TV deals that seem to be overperforming which means a better deal for the UFL. St. Louis, DC and San Antonio have solid fanbases and they have the data from Seattle. I'd be very surprised if The Rock and his conglomerate behind this fail. Especially since The Rock owns the WWE now too.
