Houston Kraft - Full Speech at Bellarmine Preparatory School on 8.30.17

August 30th Bellarmine welcomed Houston Kraft to campus to speak at the opening day assembly.
According to Houston Kraft's website, he is a professional speaker, leadership consultant, and kindness advocate who speaks to middle schools, high schools, colleges, and businesses across the country. He has spoken to nearly a half a million people nationwide at nearly 500 events and counting. Houston doesn't just inspire people for a day. His goal is to inspire a lifestyle - one rooted in character, compassion, and a consistent desire to choose to love people around us (even when that choice is scary, inconvenient, or hard).

    So this is what we are wasting our taxpayer dollars on. The guy charges $100 per head, and is worth $19M. Didn't graduate college. His bio says "he walked" with the graduating class, but doesn't say he actually earned a degree. He has never taught in a classroom where actually subject matter is being taught. He left college in 2011. So at most he has 9 years of experience at anything. Yet he is lecturing to teachers on improving their teaching skills. Somehow, I doubt if this guy would be able to teach students a subject so that they actually learn.
