If the medical procedure is child abuse by Texas law the Dr. Is required by law to help stop an illegal act from being committed or face charges himself. The DOJ also would be under criminal charges within the State of Texas for assistance in crime.

Yes, but Texas loves child abuse… That’s the problem.

Passing the information on to someone in the media, is NOT the same as reporting it as child abuse as a mandatory reporter.

HE IS NOT a whistelblower when he pour it out to the media and not the government The doctor intentionally breached HIPAA when he forwarded protected health information to a journalist, ie, non-medical personnel uninvolved in the care of pediatric patients. (He did not disclose any alleged misconduct to the federal government; he’s a whistleblower only to the press.)

If you're a child whose parents are encouraging "gender affirming care", a release of your private info is the LEAST of your worries.

Doing this to a minor is illegal in Texas.

Texas needs to give this doctor asylum against the Federal Dept of Justice & the FBI & arrest any FBI agents that attempt to arrest him.

A whistleblower should have gone to the AG and tell them what was going on. He chose to download personal information and gave that information to a conservative activist. This MF is going to jail.

You mean he should have gone to the government, like the guy that found the Biden laptop so it could be covered up? Rather than go to the media who released it after the FBI claimed they had lost the laptop? When the government is this corrupt, the media is the last option.

What he released was put online by the journalist and it's pretty clear there is a violation of HIPAA. You don't have to release names to violate HIPAA....any protected health information that can be used to identify someone or their health condition is protected and it's against the law to access if you are not directly involved in the care of that person- if you work in healthcare, you are not allowed to access just anyone's medical records; you are only allowed to access records in an official capacity while doing your job. It's also illegal to release any information without the patient's knowledge and consent, so releasing it to a journalist to put on the world wide web was a terrible idea, unless of course you want to be charged for breaking a federal law. Anyone who works in healthcare gets yearly training on this and should know what they can/ can't do.

I wish HIPPA had protected me this much when the Covid witchhunt was in full swing.

He is a mandated reporter and he is following State law

I would recommend that his attorneys employ delaying tactics as much as possible to drag the case out to January 20th. It's my understanding that the prosecutors will be looking for new jobs then. ;)

He is a whistleblower protecting children from abuses that cant be undone. Pray for him.
