Housing Through the Centuries
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Throughout human existence, homes have varied drastically in scope, size, and design. Cob houses originated in the eleventh century, are made from straw and earth, and last for hundreds of years. In fact, people still make them today. We've come a long way from our cave-dwelling ancestors, however: This year, a house was printed for the first time. For around $160,000 you could print your own mansion in 2015.

Just amazed at the simplicity of this production! Now to find out who?
this is an extremely vague, and in some cases wrong, just some examples: yurts existed much earlier, timber frame appear later, the chateau we know appear much later and it didnt look like the thing you showed which is a 17th century chateau, you literally jumped over 6000 years of architectural evolution and didnt mention the egyptians, minoans, bablyonians, and many more who invoated architecture greatly, what you showed for gothic is actually a sub style of gothic which derives more from germanic timber frame architecture rather than the classic gothic, there are several different styles of colonial architecture each extremely different and you cant just put them in one category because they are so vastly different, public housing didnt appear in the 20th century, it already appeard in carthage in 300 BC, 2300 years ago, anyway nice drawings

Yurts' were the tents where our nomadic ancestors have lived. Today we use the ''Yurt'' word as the meaning of homeland. I like how the language don't forget the past.

How long would it take to create ALL the materials needed to build it? I'd rather buy an existing home and live there. By the time the 3D printed house had everything made and was finally put together I would have paid off the mortgage on my house! Or are you using multiple 3D printers to cut down the time needed?
chateaus werent 3rd century 0:38

We have come so far from castles and mansions to proudly live in trailer homes and.... shipping containers....

3d printed house? really?
All of these people commenting about how inaccurate this is. How do any of you really know for sure if this isn't 100% accurate? None of us were around when humans lived in caves. At the end of the day we only know what we are taught. None of us really know for sure what building came first, even the people who taught us don't know for sure as no one is 15,000 BC old
@candicoated2001
4 жыл бұрын
Because there is written sources and evidence of things like this. We weren't in caves, but we sure as he'll have evidence and data of it. And of course no one knows when people lived in caves that is prehistory before written documents. People record and leave behind documents of housing and living conditions after civilization came into history. That's why people know when house and cities started to form.
@candicoated2001

Also exactly what you said, you don't know if accurate so it better to assume that it isn't.
Human progression is not linear, we have been set back by natural disasters and had to reset many times!
