I love old farm houses and log cabins myself, can't see why anybody would pay millions for a brick and glass house, country life is so much better, love and hugs from Indiana USA
Dan, you are such a fine ambassador of goodwill and friendship. I found the home tour interesting, but what kept coming to my mind is how much we are all a like than different. Thank you my friend

I noticed houses there that reminded me of pictures of homes in Mexico. What kind of made it look cold was she fences big concrete and brick fences so you cannot see the yard. It makes me think do they have and lawn for children to play on? I think the front did they put concrete all over the grounds so there is no grass? Also those big homes on not a lot of land. If you want to build a house that size, you should have more land for your tennis court and your swimming pool and jacuzzi and also your gardens. A flower garden and vegetable and herb garden. Some cherry trees and apple trees.

Housing prices are crazy...it all depends on where it's at. Back in 2000, I bought a house in Kansas, for $63,000. Where I now live, in Michigan, that same house would have cost $130-150,000 back then. My current home, cost $150,000 and has 10 acre's...it's also twice the size of some homes, closer to the city, where the "rich people" want to live. Those smaller homes, on tiny lots of land, go for 3-4 times the cost of where I'm at. It's stupid!!! I can step out my back door...naked if I wanted(nobody would see me)...I can shoot whatever I want(bow, crossbow, gun)...I have all sorts of wildlife on the property and I'm surrounded by woods.

Its nothing new, every country has their "gentrified" piece of land for wealthy people, from india, china, liberal parts of the usa, aus, canada.. But the more you gentrify and increase price = MORE Homeless. Liberal parts tend to cost more, as they b ring in more money to gentrify the land, of any country. Its why I prefer "deep" red(states) conservative lands, where low cost of living is.. as theres little money and little innovation, easy to live but has its cons lol. They're red for a reason, cause soo much debt and borrowing money from the gooberment for socialism.

Fun video Dan! Thanks for posting it. At 15:00 we call those connected houses "town homes"! Town homes are usually small houses that share walls with each other.
Dan, thank you for sharing your part of the world with me. I want to travel but it's too expensive, so I watch your channel and many others. I hope you and your beautiful family are doing well! Your house is nicer, by the way. A house with love and good family is better than a million dollar home.
Outstanding craftsmanship and design. But, I also love the little Dacha cottages with their gardens and fruit trees. It is the most beautiful way to live, with simplicity.
Those house prices are what many of us American are dealing with too.
I like how you walked on the street and filmed people. They are like us in the States. Lovely post.

Dan the Man - I loved your ending of driving and listening to David Mumford. Reminds me of driving through the Indiana countryside. Your homeland is so beautiful. Thanks so much.
Actually Dan depending where you live in the USA those prices are right in line with what we pay here. Usually we pay $100.00 to $200.00 per sq. ft. that's a base price. Customizations can run the price to $500.00 real fast.

Texans are spoiled and want underground utilities like electricity and phone service in neighborhoods. The builders would have to reduce the price of a house built with utility poles or unpaved roads. Every house has a fence of some sort around their back yard. Thank you Dan and Suzi for posting videos of life in Russia. I'm 76 years old so I'm sure I will never make a visit to Russia but you are educating us all about your lives in Russia. It has been so much fun watching your beautiful daughter grow up. I believe your house is much nicer than the very expansive ones you showed because you built it yourself.

Yes - we have underground utilities and no poles. Our back yard is fenced, but the front is grass and plants. We also have sidewalks (paved paths for pedestrians) and paved streets. I've always been fascinated by how people live in other countries and enjoy watching Dan's videos.
The expensive homes look awkward in those villages. It looks very similar to some parts of Mexico. I love your house much better. You built it yourself which for me, has the greatest sentimental value for your family!

Love you sharing varied fews of Krasnodar... Wayfaring Stranger is such inspiring introspective song. It puts all the materialistic into perspective. You can't take 2m house with you when you go. Love & kindness is the most important thing you are left with. Thanks for all you, Suzi & Sati do to share love!💕
Beautiful homes! Great video!
I live in Murrieta, California in a timber frame house. A brick house here would crumble in an earthquake. My house is about $500,000 for 1124 sq ft. In a senior gated community built around a golf course. I Don’t travel but enjoy seeing how other people Around the world live. Thank you for your videos. Such a sweet family, and you are intelligent and know what is really going on in the world.
I prefer your home, too, Dan, especially that your parents are next door. On this home tour, though, I liked the all white house. But my favorite part of all the houses was that one had the Trinity icon on the front! That was glorious to see!
Great video Dan! Beautiful country to be proud of! Thanks for sharing

One brave mayor scolded past recent governments for allowing local housing market to be used as a " safety deposit box" for off- shore housing buyers. Some houses would sell every couple of months, huge profits. Truly evil, our children are now renters forever....😱

House prices everywhere are crazy. I live in a small town. A house across the street is on the market for $315,000. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, but five years ago, if probably would have sold for $250,000 or a bit less. For reference, we bought our house six years ago for $132,000. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. If we put it on the market, we could list it at $235,000 and probably get more if there was a bidding war. Just crazy.

The Central Bankers are orchestrating another housing bubble crisis. Wealthier area houses are still the same price, avg $300K and above to millions, but they're FAKING doubling the value of small, family homes in order to deplete the middle class wealth. Blackrock/Globalists are OVERPAYING on small homes, so they can rent them out in perpetuity so there will BE no middle class. It's a wealth transfer scheme like 2008. We must stop those bastages in Brussels.
Always love going along with you on walking tours. Such diversity and at the same time, something very comforting about the people there. Thank you! ❤

Those were amazing looking houses & the apartment complexes were so BIG! We have apartment complex but they aren't as tall & as BIG & as MANY in one small area. I love the modern style homes / apartments. The house you said that had a "gward" or guard(GAR-D) was kind of a traditional style home. I loved the modern houses that had the shaped bushes or they call cut & shaped bushes here a TOPIARY(toe-pee-air-ee) & more than one is topiaries (toe-pee-air-ees). The ones you called Little Apartments are Condos or Townhomes/Townhouses. My landlord wants to sell the house I've been living in for about 9yrs & I have to find a new place to RENT but prices have gone up so much that I can't afford anything & the ones I can afford are now the size of a storage shed or looks like meth lab in a bad area of the city. I'm disabled so I can't just move anywhere so there has to be an elevator, if it's on the 2nd floor or higher. Rent prices here have doubled & tripled! I can't find anything & that's one reason that makes people homeless but here if you have a pet(🐈) they WON'T let you stay at a homeless shelter. We need some big apartment complexes that are for "income based" apartments(rent goes by how much money you make a month). They built some big apartments downtown but they are Luxury(fancy/expensive) Apartments that are across from the new baseball stadium ⚾️🏟 so some that are on higher floors could see the baseball games. They are about $2,500 a month! & they took an OLD RUN DOWN HOTEL & rebuilt it to be Luxury apartments also that's on the other side of the new baseball stadium. We need much more low- income housing here because it's getting worse. 🥺😭🚫💵🏡📦🚚🏢🏘🙏
Great video! As you were walking towards the apartments with blue skies, it reminded me of Asbury Park (NJ - USA)!

In Central NC: we got 16 acres of land, a pond, 4 bedroom brick home, extra 2-story garages, a creek, it cost $320,000.00 usd. It was valued over $770,000.00 usd in 2008 when Obama was in office. But I do not see many homes that have the nice fencing that you have, no brick fencing, not too many full basements or shelters of sorts. For $1 million usd you could get way more than this here in USA if you’re in rural area. I love that fencing!!
So good to see you post ! Our prices in US run about the same. Think of you three always. Hugs all around. Extras for Sati God Bless
