@@serenity2010sh That shouldn`t be an exsuse for cleaning the toilet bowl from inside out. That`s disgusting, man! Whould you prefer to have such a service in your room? Besides, if she had cleaned that many rooms before PROPERLY, she would have cleaned THIS one just as properly, because it would have already been an AUTOMATIC skill! And the video shows the other way around. I can only feel pity for those guests...

Finally! An actual helpful training video. Most videos just have a tiny bit of explanation. Then all the cleaning happens off camera, the next thing you see is a clean bed and bathroom without seeing the actual cleaning or bed making.

That doesn`t mean that noone can complain on such things. Any work should be done right, especially cleaning. And hygiene is very important. Housekeepers do not work for free; yes, it`s hard work, but noone forced her to do it; the guests are not to blaim that a housekeeper (or any other worker) needs money. For instance, I`d prefer to clean the bathroom myself than to have SUCH a room service and being obliged to pay for it. Or I`d simply refuse to have such a "housekeeping" if I had a choice. Too bad, that most of the times you don`t have such a choice, or you`ll have to endlessly argue with HK department and make them your enemies :). That`s why I don`t like when such people make a poor mouth. If you make a mistake, you should accept it, fix it and try to never do it again. Especially if we talk about professinal duties (of ANY type of job). It`s only natural, and it shows that you are a grown-up person, responsible for what you do (and having a right attitude towards hygiene :))).

The blanket and comforter are surely used on top of the bed and people, on the whole, sleep between the sheets, at least if they're civilised. People sit on the sofa bed to watch TV, presumably, and who knows what else they get up to? But it would be impossible to change an upholstered sofa bed with every client!

There are many factors in running a cleaning business. One resource I found which succeeds in merging these is the Gabs Cleaner Blueprint (check it out on google) it's the most incredible blueprint that I have ever seen. look at all the super information.

I used to work in one of the biggest 5star hotel calles Noah's Ark, ooh one of my worst days. We start from 8 to 4 with 10mins break. I hated it because we had to work we so much pressure,u don't even have a second to pee or poo or take an important call if you had to. House keeping is a very tiring job,I prefere dishwashing.
