    As it turns out, she was right about Matt not using drugs. It was the same thing with the other kid that was brought in with the same problems. CDC was later contacted behind the mother's back and after investigating the homes of both kids, they didn't find anything to suggest chemicals from the cans were causing the problem. They later found out both kids had ridden the same school bus and shared a seat. House later realized the jeans Matt was wearing were new and all stained to make them look old. They also tested them and found they were soaked with a pesticide called Fosdrin (Mevinphos). The reason was the jeans were stolen and sold from a truck for $5.00, which was also loaded with containers of the same pesticide. He was selling them outside the school both kids attend. The guy who sold the jeans had spilled the chemicals and knew the jeans were soaked with the pesticide but didn't bother to wash them and neither did the kids. The Karen later found out about the deception but didn't get mad.

    @isuckatguitarandbass4256

    @@GrifoStelle here is the thing. Even when house is wrong he is right. He is logical in his thinking and practice. If there are 3 possible outcomes and one is a 95% chance one is a 30% chance and one is a 5% chance. He will almost always treat for the most likely and probable thing. The problem comes when people lie and withhold information or in this case the kid isnt awake to tell them. And when you have a stubborn parent and a dieing kid it makes sense to skip the conformation and go straight to treatment especially when waiting for the conformation might make it too late for the treatment to work. Like lets say you got bit by an animal with possible rabies. Then your wound starts showing signs of rabies (i dont know if rabies has specific signs on the wounds its a made up example) If the lab is behind and might take up to 72 hours to give you results and you HAVE to get the shot within 72 hours or you will die. Then chances are you will get the shot before the results because that is the most logical and most likely treatment. But oops after you got the shot it turns out its actually infected with tetanus and you need a different shot or you will die. But oh no, you can't have both of these shots the same week or you will die, but if you don't get the tetanus shot you also will die. I know that the information I gave is not real. It is a madeup example using the names of common diseases/infections to make it more easy to follow along. The point is,in that scenario you doing what made the most sense ended up being a very big mistake. This happens all the time in real life. Doctors make mistakes, and sometimes it kills people. But we still do it the same way because if you had 100 cases that seemed the same you will save a LOT more than you will hurt. And you can't just let the majority be sick and die because there is a small chance that it could hurt you.

    I mean, it's widely used as a pesticide in nearly every indoor crop production facility worldwide for exactly that reason. It's safe for human consumption, but kills insects because they very covered in oil that doesn't get off. It's also unregulated so you can use as much as you want without worrying about any legislation. Cheap and ecological too, since many brands use waste product from orange juice manufacturers.

He explained that the CDC will indeed call and explain there will be no treatment based on facts. So they would decline. The CDC called (only for us to realise it was Chase with his Australian accent) saying exactly was House said. So Karen breaks and tells House to administer the cure. Her son is cured.
