You would think it might be worth getting in one of those companies that stage a place to look great - other people's messes are not something most people want to buy. It needs a lot of decorating & updating, and maybe a few places to paint - those nasty chimney bricks in the upstairs bedroom & the outside - a bit paint works wonders for a place !

Lots of character in this one! The living room is rather enormous, but with some redecorating could be attractive. The hallway that separates it from the kitchen could be made more functional. If it's not a listed property the doorways could be raised. The large gardens and hedges provide good privacy. A buyer might want to do significant renovation, but the place has potential.

The low ceilings make the indoors claustrophobic. Nice elevation though.
