This is a house for a family of three: jewelry designer Ryu Hinata, Yui Taira, and their children. They wanted to live in an environment surrounded by nature, so they sought a place in the suburbs of Tokyo where they could not see any man-made structures. The sloping wooded area in front of the house is their own land. They get inspiration for their jewelry designs from the shapes of trees, fruits, flowers, insects, and fungi. The building was designed by Junya Mizuno.
Passive design is used to heat the house with the sun's heat, and even in the large atrium space where temperature differences can easily occur, "it is surprisingly warm in winter,” according to the wife.

どこの街なのか知りたいです。 こういう家が建てたい。
数多いル－ムツア－を見ていますが今回のお部屋はかなり良いと思います。特にLDKとそこからお庭に繋がる視覚が優しいですね。木から木へ優しい(^0_0^)
Not sure how I like about the kitchen area. The whole house is so bright but the kitchen is at the corner kind of dark. Also there is barely any cutting area that she has to cut on top of the sink?

Thank you for comment. I like the contrast between dark and light. I think it depends on the person. And the light in the kitchen is enough to work with. The top of the sink is wide enough for her. Because it originary designed for her. And I would say this kitchen is slightly larger than the standard in Japan. I'm sorry if my English is not good enough.

確かにシンクの上にまな板置いて野菜切ってて、スペースが無いのか？って感じしましたね😂

@@hinah.457 コメントありがとうございます。確認したところ、このキッチンは、シンクの右側に少し広い作業スペースがありまして（簡略化された間取りイラストでは曖昧になっております）、いつもはそちらで材料のカットなどをしていらっしゃいます。撮影の際に画角から除けた日用品をそちらに仮置きしたため、左側でカットすることになりました。調理風景を撮影する際は前もってセッティングなどしておらず、自然な流れの中で撮影しましたので、そのようになっております。結論として、通常は作業スペースに不便はないそうです。

キッチンは完全に造作なのでしょうか？？ 新居を制作中で、このような木製+ステンレスキッチンをイメージしていて 色々なメーカーを探しております。 ご教授願えますと嬉しいです!!!

What is the city where this is located? I would like to build my house in an area not far from Tokyo yet has green spaces like this house.
