I'm in love with this apartment. It has something interesting to look at from every single vantage point. Nothing is understated, and it all works together beautifully. There is so much love and passion put into each decorative element. This is what design combined with personality is all about.

Agree. "Built-ins are dated" and limiting. This tour is full of excellent advice and useful information. A wonderful classroom. I am saving up for the beautiful cotton animal print. It's horrible, truly horrible. He's all about consumption and no discretion, the worst type of person to be a designer. His professional work lacks ANY originality. $100 says the apartment is dusty as hell, this is NYC.

I also thought about what a pain it would be to clean. However, million to one this man does not do his own cleaning, so someone is being compensated to dust all those cute things and wipe every mirror!

This is like going back in time to my grandmother's house. It was so beautjust like this one. I used to visit her and sit , taking it all in.

I'm in love with Alex's style and have been for years. His broad knowledge of design, divine taste and love of life is inspiring (use your good stuff always) and makes a beautiful maximalist home. His extensive collection of gorgeous objects against luscious colours and prints are spectacular. I especially love the idea of lampshades made from a table cloth and its border. High end for sure but comfortable, livable and very personal. Who could ask for more? Bravo!

Hello fellow interior design friends. Can anyone help me with the brand name of his 'signature leopard and tiger print fabric (5.49) .' I've listened and listened and still can't decipher. Thanks in advance.

That apartment is so crowded it would cause an epileptic seizure. That does not look like a home..it looks like a vintage store with merchandise EVERYWHERE!

Absolut schrecklich wie zugerammelt die ganze Bude ist . Schade um die herrlichen Sammelstücke die kommen gar nicht zur Geltung . Das Ganze wirkt maßlos überladen und düster .Ein Umzug in eine großzügige, luftige und helle Wohnung die riesig sein muss für all die Preziosen ist hier unbedingt geboten oder eine schöne Villa am Stadtrand .

Why all the videos about interior decorators bring just the gay ones? Must be at least one it is not, isn’t it?
