Its not just a youtube channel where he plays music, hes a multi platinum selling artist.

Ya know whats amazing with this scene? House always has a habit of telling people "Don't touch the piano." Here not only does he allow Lucas to play it but he even joins in. I don't ever recall anyone other then Lucas really enjoying music with House and music is clearly something loves. Lucas really did get House way better then his coworkers.

I saw him live, he’s amazing! Will never forget him drinking a shot of whisky

Nah, Wilson's the only real buddy a guy like House needs. Besides, nobody else can really handle House but Wilson lol. Eventually Lucas wouldn't be able to deal with House's assholeyness (yes I made this word up) anymore lol.

A relationship of House and Lucas like the relationship House has with Foreman might seem interesting. I feel like House's true salvation might have been music after all. I mean he seemed to be always happy around music, he met that German woman in the psychiatric hospital due to music. When his psychiatrist talked about House's true calling to stop his leg pain, it might really have been music, not being a doctor.

You’ve almost got to appreciate House’s musical talents. The man not only plays the piano, but can also play the guitar.

I've seen this mans talent as Laurie and fry. I've watched this man blitz any role he's been given. The most underrated actor, comedian, and humble person. He's been overlooked for too long. I want him and rebel Wilson on stage together at the next BAFTAs

I adored the chemistry Lucas and House had, I loved how House kinda accepted him. Like, he comes home, finds him playing his piano and it feels normal and ok to him, he kinda expects it so he just pulls out a guitar and joins him, they have such a nice vibe

I really love this part. Music and context.

Liked their chemistry. Love this show.

I've only seen a few episodes when I was a teenager and only started watching seriously from season 1 after seeing plenty of short KZread clips and I think I got a fictional crush on Dr. House now 😂

Everyone making Eric Clapton references… clean your ears out. He’s playing Jeff Beck’s arrangement. You should hear Hugh play live with his band. I know he’s a pianist but he’s also a fine guitarist in his own right.

@@jey8605 not sure. He mightve not even used pedals, just turned up the gain on the amp and turned down the tone on the guitar to give it a softer tone

@@bo64625 thanks for the answer dude. That may be the case I guess. I don't know how to get that creamy soft yet crunchy bluesy sound out if my amp, it's impossible. I tried way too much but to no avail. I got a a BOSS DD7 digital delay pedal, and on the way I got a BOSS compression sustainer cs3... I am not sure what else, I need. I am trying to get that sound out of the clean option on my amp, not the lead one with effects. Any suggestions?

It also may also come down to the guitar when talking about that specific tone, pretty sure he's playing a Les Paul which are renowned for that kind of tone. that being said Im sure you can re-create it to some extent with the right gear ( but im not too sure exactly what gear specifically). what are you playing ? also what amp do you have?
