I like him because on first glance he seems like a regular "good boy" who plays by the rules when in reality he's more similar to House than anyone else in the show. It's always funny to see the reactions of others in the show when they see Wilson do crazy stuff.

It would be quite comedic if Wilson had the remote to just close it again. Wilson can match House's pranks and intellect. We saw that at its height during Seasons 2 and 5 when he sawed House's cane halfway through so it would break during their joint walks, or when he used Amber's name to trick House into believing he is dating a former hooker.

James Williams 777 $5,000, minimal quality and without building structural restrictions, not counting the installation job. Edit: But in real life, that wouldn’t be possible. In an office like that, the space between floors isn’t big enough (standard 8’-10’) for a solid wall to move straight up. Can only move horizontally, sliding or rotating walls that open like doors. But I guess the production went for the easiest, lifting the fake wall up in that studio.

The fact that Wilson barely even registered it, as if he just knew it was some Houseian piece of madness before he even looked, was brilliant.

Anyone who knows anything about construction in a workplace building knows how insane this is. He made a structural change to the building. Which means he had to ask approval of the building owner, facility management and a third party engineering company to perform a 1 minute prank. I am impressed.

Especially when camera and lighting rigs used to be quite bulky it was pretty much mandatory to have modular sets in case you needed to get multiple angles of the same scene.

Everyone sitting in the sofa, holding martinis are just questioning their existence that very moment and I love it

To put it in context, the whole point of the episode was that foreman was keeping an eye on him so house never left the hospital while he hired an entire construction crew to make this happen

Man Wilson delivers that ‘No’ so perfectly I can’t 😂

I love how Wilson had gotten to the point where he simply just doesn't care.

I love it how Chase and Taub are also so used to House’s childish antics that they’re not especially surprised when compared to the girls. And Wilson just glances up like “huh, so THATS why they have been installing a roller door in my office”.

I’m more amused at the fact that he has them all sitting there with a martini.

I love the changes in the reaction on Taub's face as the scene progresses 😂 Goes from pure confusion, to a quirky smile once he figures out that it's all just to annoy Wilson

I'd like to think that "No" was to House for the drink not the door like "No house its 4 in the afternoon and we are at work"

@Joker Army there’s a theory that the overarching plot of house was that chase eventually becomes the next house (I can’t remember all the details so maybe look it up or something) so it’s cool that you noticed they even start dressing very similarly. Also, this theory was in a yt comment under a video posted by the official House, MD channel, and they hearted the comment, so that adds some credibility lol

The writers and actors were and are brilliant. It's been years since I've sobbed over the series finale. Still rewatch it to this day.

Where did you get that nugget of information from? TV sets like that usually don't fuck around with complicated and expensive solutions like that if they can avoid them. They would make prop walls that can be easily be moved by hand before they would build an expensive motorized version like that only to get a better angle for filming. I highly doubt that this wall wasn't specifically made for that shot.

@@ChristianSandviknes I thought of that too (the door panel will be inside the upper floor's wall), but usually building's floor will have steel mesh in the concrete, really hard to hack through. So either the top floor ceiling is really high (from the ceiling board) or House hired a really good (& usually expansive) high-end engineering contractor.

When you realise it's probably always done that to fit a camera in wilsons office for filming.

OMG...The expression on everyone's face. And Wilson is ok. I adore House...and I adore Wilson...but they can be scary sometimes

I think this is more of a methaphorical thing mask with a fun aspect. Its the middle of season 8. The ending. The ultimate wall that separated wilson and house, house lack of emotional conection with anybody. Here he came back and "united" with wilson. Even tho it looks like its the same old relationship, its a stronger and closer one.
