I never knew I needed to watch a viking cowboy in a room kill an acoustic guitar in the most beautiful way whilst giving a performance his own. Not only one of the best House of the Rising Sun covers I've heard, one of the best covers I've heard in general.

I got my first real guitar when I was 12. Taught myself by watching players on tv and a few beginners books. House of the rising sun was the second song I learned to pick through. I love this version. Great recording too!

Just saw Alex at Crabby Bill's on The Beach in Indian Rocks, Florida on May 17, 2022. I can honestly say this guy is one of the best solo acoustic guitar players/singers that I have ever seen and listened to. And the dude is humble and gracious as well! Southern Florida has a ton of talent but this guy kills it!----

The guitar skills is one thing, but the absolute pipes on this man is truly the best part. Bloody well done sir.
I got my first real guitar when I was 12. Taught myself by watching players on tv and a few beginners books. House of the rising sun was the second song I learned to pick through. I love this version. Great recording too!

Just saw Alex at Crabby Bill's on The Beach in Indian Rocks, Florida on May 17, 2022. I can honestly say this guy is one of the best solo acoustic guitar players/singers that I have ever seen and listened to. And the dude is humble and gracious as well! Southern Florida has a ton of talent but this guy kills it!----

YES! YES!! YESSS!!!! I've been searching for *THIS* version for so long and never found anyone who could capture the essence of the song with their voice. This song is about pain and misery and this is *EXACTLY* how it should be sung!! I don't understand how some people can sing it as if they were singing a lullaby to a baby!

My old garage band played that song at many a sox hope after b ball games at the local highschool. Great times and memories of a more innocent period in time. I think we made all of 5 bucks per guy. Those were the days! BTW we never sounded that good!
