i love how much more confident matt smith seems to be this time around, like he’s fully settled into his role as daemon whereas last season he seemed a touch more reserved (strictly speaking about the press tours only, not daemon lol)
1:41 Everyone talking about Rhaenyra and that sword but nobody's talking about Baela with the cross bow! You could have a sword for a whole number of reasons like ceremony or self defense but a loaded crossbow usually means one thing: you are killing something!

I read somewhere the GRRM himself said the Matt Smith made a better Daemon than he had written in the first place. I didn't believe it (don't get me wrong Matt's my favorite actor, and Daemon's ny favorite character, it's just hard to think Martin would admit to that so easily), until I heard that "I'm coming for each and every one of them." CHILLS. LITERAL CHILLS. He's starting to turn into his character, and I'm absolutely here for it.
