Their mutual friend they were talking about must be Emilia Clarke! She's been friends with Matt for a long time, then she and Fabian became friends after co-starring on Last Christmas together.

@@Berserker--18 replacing Aemond with Cregan is the dumbest idea as long as Aemond rides Vhagar. The Aemond vs Daemon hype is deserved, especially because the characters themselves parallel each other and because they are the strongest pieces for their respective sides. If I’m frank, Cregan Stark is overhyped for what little he does. Half the hype is because he’s a Stark. He appears once the Dance is already pretty much over, cleans up the mess, serves as Hand for a brief while iirc and then returns to the North.

Cregan was wise not to involve him much in this nonsense war.The guy was talking about whole of westeros so I still think cregan hold an edge over aemond in combat skills. Well vhagar is the main reason one should be afraid of aemond but considering his experience, he was too immature.

@@Berserker--18 the reason the North didn’t involve themselves in the war wasn’t because Cregan was wise. It was literally because the Dance took place when the North was facing winter and they had to take time to raise men and work through the logistics. Nothing tells us that Cregan Stark has “an edge over Aemond” in combat. That’s literally your headcanon. Aemond on the other hand has been shown to be proficient with a sword. Trained by Criston and better at fighting than Aegon. Immature? Lmaooo, he was cocky, vengeful and inexperienced sure. But the comment you replied to was about Aemond teaming WITH Daemon and Criston. They’d make up for his lack of experience. The combination of Aemond with the other two is far, far more dangerous than just Cregan. In the end, it will always come back to dragons.

@@yewwizz i respect ur opinion but cregan was probably the greatest and most smart stark of all time. U will not understand because this show will focus more on Targaryen but in the book cregan was among the best warrior of seven kingdoms during dance along with cristan cole and daemon. But again I will say dragons made Targaryen look like supreme. I am just interested in books because show has deviated and maybe show aemond could match cregan
