Fun fact: Rhaenys was born on the 7th day of the 7th moon and this episode aired on July 7th so technically her birthday. Producers are insane for that lineup wow

Rhaenys was going at it till the death. I don't think she's recovered from losing both her children and seeing Aemond ride her daughter's dragon must have brought out so many emotions. Also she was once accused of not doing anything at the coronation. This time she said I'm not letting anyone go. QUEEN SHIT AAA

rhaeneys attacked in the hopes of injuring vagar in hopes another black dragon can finish her off. (Meleys is one of the oldest and strongest dragons) or kill her or maybe kill aemond so vhagar would be riderless and out of the picture, she is more experienced at the end of the day Meleys was too injured to have made it very far & Rhaenys would have never abandoned Meleys even for the sake of her own safety. That last look they gave before turning back to fight Vhaegar again was a mutual acknowledgement they were going down together. Makes that whole moment that much more heartbreaking. Also abandoning their Ally wouldn't leave a good message about rhaneyras claim

Yeah I noticed it much more when i rewatched the episode that Rhaenys did it out of mercy. It was so much sadder the second time I watched.

The moment us book readers dreaded all along. Rhaenys knew she couldn't take out Vhagar alone, so she weakened and injured her in the hope Daemon and Caraxes (Meleys' brother) would finish the job. A true hero, a true queen, both of them.

I laughed when you said “brew it by the pitcher” since she’s been getting busy 😂

i cried for all the dragons seening such unique creatures forced to fight by humans is just so sad to me

she couldnt leave if she left she would be seen as a dragon abandoning loyal soldiers of rheanyra she know she had to stay otherwise rheanyra her loyalist would leave to the other side as they already wear not happy with her patience in this war, so rheanys knew she had to make a stand just from principles and hope she would win

Aegon is still alive but he's gonna be bedridden for a LONG LONG LONG LONG TIME

I believe that when princess Rahynese thought she was done when she had sun fire in Meylese claws and vahgarh came out to attack. However when Aemon chooses to slay his brother and king instead of her and meylese she decided that she would do everything in her power to bring the monster who caused the death of her grandson great nephew and now her nephew who she may not hold a fondness for but is still tied to by blood. It was the princess’s honor that got her killed and it was Aemond decide that lead him to victory.

Great episode overall. We love and salute the queen who never was. That final look between Rhaenys & Meleys was enough to break my heart. Vhegar needs to be taken now! 💛💛

EDIT: I meant to say Aegon not Aemond... smh ---- in GoT, Tywin Lannister said "Any man who must say 'I am the king' is no true king." - Aemond keeps on repeating to whoever wants to hear that he is the king, so this just proved once more that he is not it. I wonder, he never reflects about the fact that people keep mentioning that sacrifices were made for him to be put on the throne. To me, this already says it all...

I cried on episode 1 of this season when rhanerya found her son dragon wing and his cloak, then again when her son came home and they cried together but this episode had me so broken. I boo hoo so bad😢

He played agon in that meeting because he don't know how to speak high valyrian that's why his response made no sense. The ending upset me because that's not how that fight went at all. In the book Rhaenys was fucking Vhagar because he move to quick then aegon shows up and saves his brother. all three were locked in a circle and all three hit the ground but Rhaenys dragon barely took damage she was leaving turned back.

Y'all should leave the books 📚 alone. Rhaenys died there too the show made it honorable and I love it.
