We only spent one night here on the way back from Asheville, so we didn't look into doing anything else. Natural Bridge is not far away and the Safari Drive Thru zoo. Both are nice accessible places to visit. Last time they used a bus to take me to the bottom at natural Bridge. First time they allowed you to drive your own vehicle. Not sure if that's changed again. Get to the zoo 15 min or more before they open and do the drive thru section first, then do the walking/ rolling part.
