Based on Masha Traub's story "The House in the South". An enterprising broker rented a house by the sea to several families at once. So, by chance, in one "ark" several completely different women with children are forced to "sail on the waves of life". After a tangle of eccentric, funny events, showdowns, it seemed that they would understand each other, but the appearance of the owner of the house returning from the voyage, and unaware that his friend, to whom he gave the keys to the house, handed it over, violates the already almost emerged Chekhovian atmosphere.

lovely film, untainted by any hollywoodisms, love the references to Chekov throughout the movie. Very funny and in natural ways.

It was filmed in Crimea, a peninsula in Black Sea. The exact location is a town called Hurzuf (Hurzuf).

I was honestly dussappointed. I was hoping fir a story to watch not nudity abd people swaying in scenes longer than they should be. It’s not a real movie to watch.. it is basically entertainment for men to drool upon. 😑 Thanks anyway. The location is superb and that was where my fun was in watching 10 minutes parts in two days reaching 34 minutes through the film. And had enough. 👋🏻

What nudity! Did we watch the same film? It is a resort and the tourists are sunbathing and swimming. That happens on any beach. I liked the film. It was funny when the young boy did want to take picture with the young girl.

There was no nudity per Western standards. People on the beach swim in swimming suits. Actually, the swimming suits the actresses wore were conservative as per the modern standards.
