House Demolition #21 (part one), Winnetka
Ойын-сауық
The demolition of a SFR built in 1926 measuring at 3,920 sqft. The house was condemned by the city after being abandoned since 2005. It had racked up a number of code violations since then along with other problems. Mold, dead animals, the rear of the structure partially collapsed, facade bricks falling off, ceilings and walls throughout the structure falling down/cracking. There will be a newer, better, bigger, home taking its place.

Why so gently??? Are you afraid of demolish something?😂
Great and nice demolition ! hurry part 2 🤩
This was an elegant, old home, sturdily built. We are used to seeing wood-frame homes with brick facades, but this was a brick house, with solid exterior brick walls and interiors of plaster on wood lath. Due to its dilapidated condition (including the partial collapse), my guess is the operator had to dial back his demolition approach to keep the structure from collapsing. As you mentioned in your response to my prior comment (deleted), the house being razed was not close enough to adjacent structures to threaten them in the event of collapse. The "timid" demo is likely out of concern that a full collapse could damage their equipment and/or injure the operator. Otherwise, I'm out of suggestions.
This must be the most painfully slow demolition i have ever seen!, what with scraping the plants off the wall and picking at the bricks, i could have done it quicker with a hammer!, it all has to come down so why mess about?, just smash it!
Trying to salvage the bricks?

Yes, they take them back to the yard to be ground up into 3 inch gravel
equipment operator must be paid by the hour . and the half- assed water " dribbling " . did not want to pay for the use of a hydrant !
But now it is starting to move.
Really? It was necessary to take the vines off one by one? Talk about padding your paychecj
You weren't kidding about the condition of this home. Toward the end of the video, as the exterior brick wall was being slowly demolished on the upper floor, the wood hangers and lath inside the exterior walls below the upstairs windows showed extensive rot, obviously missing the plaster on the inside of the lath. Will there be a Part 2?

Bonjour !! pourquoi aller petit à petit pour démolir une maison ? Si j'étais moi, je traverserai carrément la maison Avec l'engin 😂
i found this video to slow and boring to be honest i son,t understand why he was being so gentle in knocking it down he should of have been a alot quicker
Well, obviously someone was so STUPID not to have someone save the windows etc. out of the old beauty before destroying it.

It wasn't safe to remove them, they're not special or unique, and the condition of them were terrible
Ew.
