    Either Ejoe was high by music or by other means, he had fun and this is what I miss. Just to do it for exhibition and for the people to enjoy is reward enough for me. I really miss this.

    If you really think about it, everyone does the same thing they always do; our muscle memory and personal style are two things that will always show up naturally in our dance. Personally, I think Ejoe is a much cleaner dancer and possesses a much more refined style. He is also always on the music. That's not to say Yugson isn't dope in his own way - just don't be fooled by "fresh moves" - there's so much more to the dance than just that.

    hit the nail on the head...we never battled in the circles when house music scene in NYC was at its apex during late 80's early 90's, especially early 90's. The music was the master, we were FELLOW slaves to the rythym...Ejoe gave these young kids a glimpse of an era long gone..

    Yugson seemed to interrupt Ejoe's game a few times... but no one is as PRESENT as Ejoe ever!!!! that is what makes him so special! As shown in this video, one has to do 3 moves to every 1 move of Ejoe's in order to win because Ejoe in always more present. yes or no?

    Both dancers are unique & amazing in their own right! Two different styles and movements, with there own feel and musicality. You have to see there gift and story to the music. Now, if one wants to break down the dance elements in which each dancer brings to the dance floor, that's another discussion.

    i love the song at the end before the last round whats the name? as for the battle ejoe hands down clearly won on point on beat feels the music the music feels him. the other guy is trying to do what ejoe has already put out on the streets when people come up with there own style instead of ejoes then we can judge until then it is what it is ejoe wins this and the other dude knew it.

    yes indeed ... I tell you this ..Mamson is the smoothest dancer.. I TRY to Emulate his style .. and Ejoe is a beast most expressive . at times he almost gets lost in the music ... that should have been the battle tho ....Ejoe would have pulled the best out of Mamson and vice versa!!

    I've seen all the moves Mamson made in the prefinals on this event in previous videos with him. I think the difference here is that there are a lot more videos of Ejoe so im not buying that argument. I'm not saying one is better than the other cause im happy to look at both dance but your argument is flawed.

    @7thvenom Since house dance originated in the US (NYC, Chicago) it is natural and obvious that the pioneers are American. Legends like Ejoe, Brooklyn Terry and Caleaf. But it is ignorant and narrow minded to discredit all Parisien house dancers. Obviously they have a different style, it would be boring if it weren't so. But they are still great! Mamson, Babson, Kapela and you already mentioned Serge just to name a few. Watch the Juste Debout House final 2012.

    Ejoe falls in love with his spinning. Too much spinning and ground dancing. His footwork is slow but so sweet and smooth which makes it very unique. Too many house dancers think about quick big steps and Ejoe does the exact opposite. When he kicks up the speed, he is downright nasty like at 9:35. I've seen Ejoe do better than this video though.

    why don't you say Michael Jackson, James Brown, Gene Kelly, etc shouldn't deserve their title for kept doing the same moves? It's obvious you know NOTHING about this art. You think Ejoe's moves are the same it's because that's his noticeable peronality and the way he feels the music. If viewing from your narrow perspective I would say even Hiro or Mamson were doing the same moves, but I won't. Cuz that's how they feel the music and what make them so different from others.

    Ejoe is far behind Yugson, technically Ejoe does always the same things. Even if it's fit with the music, the technical skills and musicality of Yugson are definitely beyond!

  • @overseastom
    @overseastom11 жыл бұрын

    I totally disagree - dancers all work the rhythms differently, and just because he Yugson was sometimes working *around* the one, doesn't mean he wasn't rockin'. Just jump to 7:56 and tell me he's not on the beat, and groovin. C'mon man, no need to diss, and make this about winners and losers, everyone's style is different, and entertaining. I think they're BOTH fuckin sick :) Peace.
