I've had the dim light for 6 months & your tutorial is the best. I'm 55yrs old & I put the dim light all over my face(over my foundation.) I love it, my face looks great & smooth. Thank you!!!

I love dim light! Been using it since I started wearing make up. It totally just sets my face beautifully. I find that you can build it up to contour slightly. Such a great product, really just evens everything out!

You are soo gorgeous! I just got dim light in the mail yesterday and so glad I chose that one now I was between diffused or dim, and really want diffused now! You kind of look like a mixture of Zendaya and Aaliyah so, so pretty! Thanks for this video it was very helpful!

i tend to have dry undereyes and looking for a powder that won't make them cakey and drier.. Do you think the diffused light would work well for me? It looks gorgeous on you! I am a very similar complexion.

I wasn't sure about this after swatching it but now that I've seen your video it makes me want to buy it and try it out!

It's one of those products that you actually have to apply on your face to get the full effect :D

When you add bronzer and blush on top of moon light, doesn't it cover up look of beautiful sheen of moon light? Yes, i like it with out adding bronzer and blush too so moon light stands out more. Honestly, I've been eyeing Moon Light for a long time ever since a sale rep recommend it as a secondary product to what i was looking for. I originally looked for Clinique snowflake shimmer powder (pinkish lose powder). It was a limited edition item that sehpora no longer carry so the rep refer me over to hourglass counter and show moon light. I think i may have to grab this one at last....its so beautiful in the compact and awesome on your face. Thanks for sharing!

Liz, thank you so much! This is exactly what I've been looking for in a review and demo. I missed the palette during the holidays and was waiting until a re release of the palette to buy the ambient lighting product. I tried on multiple powders at Sephora and loved all of them. Saw that the palette is back and bought it straight away and am waiting for the delivery. I will use your example to try them on sans the pink highlighting color. What would you suggest for under the eyes from the palette colors? Cheers! Carmen

You're welcome! Before I purchased Diffused light (yellow one) I used Dim Light all over my face, including my under eye are and it looks gorgeous! Just make sure to do it with a light hand :)

Nikita K saw your comment and wanted to let you know that I do this! I have combo/oily skin so you could definitely set your foundation first and then apply this on top! Hope this helps 😊

Great review! I have been eyeing Diffused Light to use as under eye powder to set my concealer and highlight that area but was unsure about the price. I think I am defiantly going to try it out!

BeautyPOP I just bought the full size dim light, It''s such a pretty setting powder, except I wouldn't recommend it to set under eye concealer. I use the GIrogio Armani loose powder for that :)

Girl, I obviously hadn't consumed my coffee intake of the day...I was mispelling like a mofo lol! I hope you could understand what I was trying to say!! :) I don't have any of the blushes yet....I am thinking of the palette! I was scared thd blushes wouldn't show on my skin. I am nc37ish nc35 now in mac terms, or like a bd40 in Ysl foundation (bd50 in the summer). I like Dim and Radiant in the blush line....do you own all of the blushes? Which one's would you rec for a med olive skin tone?

I agree that these powders are amazing & I'm obsessed with that palette & I also have 2 of the blushes in mood exposure & radiant magenta & I love them! I have to disagree though with what u said about the highlight shade in the palette incandescent light ;-)) it is the most stunning highlight shade & I use it every day along with the other 2 shades in the palette & I love dim light & use it all over as a finishing powder & radiant light to bronze me face ;-)) maybe u should give incandescent light a chance because it's truly so stunning as a highlight :-)) xoxoxo

I found this video to be helpful. I have dark black hair and dark brown eyes like you. You're very pretty. I went shopping at Sephora yesterday with my cousin and my Mom. My birthday is this Friday, June 12th. And my Mom gave me some money to spend at Sephora as part of her birthday present for me. I ended up buying Too Faced Cosmetics' Melted Metal lip product & Hourglass's Ambient Lighting Palette. I've been wanting the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette for the longest time. I think in the future I will buy more Hourglass products. It seems in 2015 - I now have this theme running in my head about time - patience - birthday - getting older - and Hourglass. So, I had to buy an Hourglass product for part of my birthday present. I can't wait to experiment with my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. Good job with your makeup look!
