    I dig it. Ended up with a very weird, almost disturbing image of rope :) Thanks for showing me how to make rope interesting

    just use a wide lens and use manual numbers to go super low on the f/stop. i know if you wanna go for realism its allways a good idea to folllow "reallife" values but the whole setup isnt focused on realism and more on like a product presentation stile, for which it can also end in a great look imo

    Many thanks for the great tutorial. Could you perhaps give me a tip on how you created the path from 02:39 onwards along which the yarn moves?

    Did the modifiers not disappear for anyone else when applying them? So I can't go and animate the different X locations of the yarn because the modifier isn't there anymore :(

    When you applied all the modifiers, doesnt it take away the freedom to animate the rope on the X axis along the curve? How did you get to animate that after applying all modifiers? Please help

  • @KennyPhases

    You should be able to move and animate along the X-Axis after applying modifiers! If this doesn't work let me know! Message me on instagram with a screenshot so I can further assist!

    How is the glass background blurring anything if it's behind everything?

    @@KennyPhases I'm asking how is the glass able to blur anything if it's behind all other objects? Wouldn't the glass have to be in front of an object to blur it? In the video, the glass is in the background.

  • @KennyPhases

    @KennyPhases

    3 күн бұрын

    @@sidekick3rida The background is the HDRI, so naturally the HDRi is behind the glass, and that's what gets blurred!

    @@KennyPhases BINGO! That was the confusing part. The background was so blurry, I though it was just a gradient. Thank you for clarifying.

    Hi! I'm curious what settings you used on the particle system to make the hair so rough and curly?

  • @KennyPhases

    @KennyPhases

    4 ай бұрын

    There were many changes I made actually, I would take a look at the Gumroad file! I don't remember all of the changes but I think I added a curl-kink to the hair particles in the "children" section! Hope this helps!

    When you duplicate the Nurbspath it seems to remain as one object (if you look under scene collection window) when I do it, multiple Nurbspaths are created. Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong?
