Houdini: Easy Orientation and Rotation with Attribute Adjust Vectors

Фильм және анимация

THIS VIDEO HAS AN UPDATE TO IT HERE: • Houdini: Easily Orient...
In this video, Liam shows how to use Normals in the Attribute Adjust Vector to control rotations in Houdini without any VEX. Not only simple controls but how to use a falloff or mask to control the rotations as well. While MOPs has a great tool for this already with the MOPs Transform, what if an artist is in a situation where they can't use MOPs and they're not familiar with VEX?

Interesting. I have to try. the rotation at 6 minutes seems a bit strange to me. pitch, yaw roll seem to ignore the local axis that precedes them. It doesn't seem to me to work very well.

I've gone back and 100% I could be wrong, but it matches exactly what the Orient Along Curve is doing. I did a quick Loom screen recording: www.loom.com/share/39bd02754d8446b2bb3a3d051135da54

Seeing the orbit of moon , sun , and planet supposedly kept the earth in a balanced conditions but extreme industrial activities help prevent that because of speed but it is elastic like rubber band once over threshold it either break or extremis responese
