Hou just oodles control and poise in his shots. His bread and butter shots namely his slices are loaded and so well timed.
I love it when he does side spins from under the table. I tried and the ball always flew over the table.
You have to be a crazy good defender if you make it to the 7th game against Timo

He's underrated and doesn't appear in much world tours or big stages because he plays for china (who would pick ML FZD XX ect above him) Otherwise he is a world class player and chopper imo

Shortpips Sword Long Can with defensive sponge on backhand. I don't know what he uses om forehand. Some conventional backside rubber or chinese sticky rubber....

The latest i've heard is that he uses shortpips Sword Long Can with defensive sponge on backhand. And probably some chinese sticky rubber on forehand.
