Hotpoint Washing Machine NSWA943CWWUK 3 Years Later

I thought you would like an update on our Hotpoint NSWA943CWWUK washing machine after 3 years of service here at Rathbone Manor.
This Hotpoint NSWA943CWWUK washing machine has been cleaning all of our laundry for the past 3 years very reliably so we have no issues there.
However there are problems with rust on two corners of the machine where water must be running down the inside of the front trim panel 😳
and the rail for the laundry liquid dispenser started to split which I repaired with Araldite epoxy resin.
I don't think Mrs Rathbone will be replacing this washing machine with another Hotpoint (Unless Hotpoint wish to send us a long term T&E model 😁 of course) but in general it has been very reliable over the 3 years we have owned it.

My washing machine is a NSWR 742U Hotpoint washing machine also my machine has done great for the past two years soon to be three and the issue I had with it is it has been struggling with a massive load and sometimes my socks keep going down to the drain.
i was literally just checking your channel yesterday and wondering your washing machine is doing 😂 glad its still going strong however can definitely tell its had a busy life! ive had a few similar models, they've all been amazing. your dryer i have the exact same model, really dont like it but im glad its doing well for you
We have a hot point appliance from the 1980’s that is still going strong. That rusting issue is a concern and maybe send this video to them and ask if they have a replacement facia, because it’s only a matter of time until it rusts through and you get rusty streaks dripping to the floor. It might have to do with condensation inside.
Has it been 3 years already !!??!! We have an indesit ( same company whirlpool owns them both) and it's used thrice daily most days , the only thing that looks like it will need replacing soon is the big rubber between the door and the drum ( yours still looks new compared to ours ) , but a genuine replacement part was only £20 . And this is only because of the ultra hard water in our area . Same rust issue as you have as well . Draw does tend to leak . Bad design . Last one was the same .
Is the rust due to the leaky drawer you had to fix?
I would definitely recommend a Bosch. I can’t fault my Serie 4 machine. Hotpoint are cheaply made as is evidenced by your machine. 3 years is no age for white goods, I would be disappointed if my machine were anything other than “like new” after 3 years use.
