HOTONE: Ampero II Stage - Writing a Kitchen Sink Preset!

Музыка

Since the Ampero II Stage was still on my desk I thought it might be cool to make a little how-to video about creating a single preset that could quite possibly get you through a whole gig. This one features Scenes that range from pristine clean through to crunch, lead, jangly and ambient. Yes, it can be done. Check it out.

    The best Ampero 2 Stage review and beginners tutorial so far. Without 10 minute narcistic demo fiddling at the beginning, like most of the others, thank you so much ;-) Straight into the topic, very constructive and explanative right from the beginning… Thanks!

    I like it! I did a couple of mods to make it useable for me: 1) Tap tempo on switch 7; 2) combined all modulation effects on switch 6; 3) added a stereo widener patch at the end of the signal chain; 4) for the Ampero Press - set Exp1 as 0-100 / Exp2 as 40-100 - this will allow you to keep the trails on ambient swells. I love it! Thanks!

    I notice you are using the Ampero Tuner Press. I just bought one and can't seem to be able to use it as a Wah. Could you do a video and setting up and using the Tuner Press? No one else on KZread appears to have anything on that subject. Thanks!

    Hi great video demo really appreciate it! I just bought one of these units and sometimes (but not always) I have a hard time saving my presets. For example if I click on the volume icon at the top of the screen adjust the volume hit save it often won't save and I repeat the process numerous times until it eventually it does save. I've even tried hitting edit first and then hitting the volume icon and making my adjustments hitting save and it's still doesn't save but I do it three or four times and then it saves it so I'm kind of at a loss wondering if you have any advice for the proper steps thanks in advance! I think I must be inconsistent in my procedure but not sure how. Can you offer any advise?

    Great Demo and also a Master Class on how to properly set-up FX chains. I've had the Stage a few weeks and love it. It's worth the $$$. I'm still trying to figure out the Mic portion though. Are there separate effects for Vocals? I've been going into both inputs with a PRS Custom 24 Piezo in Parallel and it's really fun adding effects to both inputs. I find myself in a Mad Scientist mode experimenting with different FX combos

    Nice, good sounding on YT. Today there is so much choice, I have Axe Fx III, with Lexicon MPX200, and to play around Mooer Prime P1 with the ipad and a Nux Might Air also very good for the price and for portability. This box sounds great. The question is always with these products is how often do they update. Axe is so great for updates. Mooer and Nux nothing since I have had it more than six months. I think this is key to these products dont you? Cheers for a great one Bergs

    Some companies aside I think it's good to choose a device now on it's current state and not expecting too much from firmware updates. I really like how the ampero sounds already so I'm buying one :) It's nice to see they really added functionality in the 1.0.4 update so that's a nice bonus. My (old) mooer ge200 got a nice update in it's life cycle by the way. (custom IR upload). Both brands are really nice, but today I think the ampero sounds better compared to the new ge1000 imo. The axe Fx 3 is a great device, but on another budget level ;)

    There will be updates, some new amps or effects here or there. Occasional bug fixes. You will be dissappointed with the frequency of them if you are used to Axe FX or Line 6.

    Hi, can you help me out please.. i can’t find my answers. I would like to use the ampero at home in front of me, on the table. My questions are: is this machine actually also build for electric/ acoustic guitars? I know i can connect an acoustic guitar, but like other amps especially, for elektric guitars, the sound will be off. Can the ampero be used for vocals, especially with condenser microphones is there a phantom switch on board? ..and if so, can you use the mic at the same time while playing the guitar? Is this machine actually build for vocals aswell? And last, when using the ampero do i need an amp or mixer table behind all this or can i just plug in the instruments and a headphone and enjoy all the good stuff? These are alot of questions and i really appreciate it when you can help me out 👍🏼 Thanks in advance! 🇳🇱 I do appreciate all the info given in this video ✌🏼

    Hi, excellent video!,,, you can share the presets?. An additional question, does the tuner press pedal remove the dynamics and tone? It happens to me with the soul press pedal, which is volume and wah and exp, but when you connect the guitar directly to the ampero it sounds much better (dynamic and tone) than connecting it from the pedal to the ampero.

  • @BrettKingman

    @BrettKingman

    I didn't notice any difference in the Tuner Press. There's a buffer in there so that probably helps somewhat.

Say, I only have 1 amp block and that block can go either clean, crunch and hi-gain per different scene and go together with my selected effects as well. Can this unit do it? :)

    Impressive Modeler. Nothing wrong with those sounds. Easy to navigate. Are you noticing any latency? Does it have a DSP usage Meter? Thanks

  • @BrettKingman

    @BrettKingman

    5 ай бұрын

    Negligible latency when using a traditional signal path of drives, amp, cab and delay, etc. Some latency when using synth patches and hungrier CPU-demanding blocks. No DSP usage meter; you'll just get greyed-out blocks when selecting and it's filling up.
