Never been there kept hearing about it back in the 90's just had a good friend of mine told me I should seriously think about visiting.

Nice video; had great times over the years; i always stayed across the street , at the Morzan Hotel, convenient, no room charges for girls, excellent free breakfasts, safe; miss the good old days

Yes.looking back i was pretty careless with the partying and all that. But i never felt unsafe at all. And i had taxi take me to some seedy spots.always hang with a buddy.

Thanks for the video. I am planning on visiting San Jose next March for a week and I plan to stay around the Del Rey hotel area. Is it that a safe area? and are there nightlife activities around to check out? This is my first time visiting Costa Rica and a first timer I always like to stay in a good area and stick to it as this gives more peace of mind.

d Del Rey is open for business. I stayed there last month, not what it used to be but they just reopened, no live games yet and Key Largo was not opened.

Went there bout 10 years ago with some buddies. Total debauchery lol..blue marlin bar was unreal. Good times!been there bout 4 times

CR's Landmark. Been a few times. That place was very dated. The beds like sleeping on springs and nails.

Sportsman Lodge used to be good as well. Is that open?

@@redsoxvette NO its open already but only the casino and some other minor stuff are unoperational yet. like the poker room is no more. But keylargo, and all the bars are all open and also the girls are starting to go back not like before but in a regular basis you wil see plenty

Happy Travels, it seems that the people of Costa Rica are to themselves. Real quiet, no yelling, no honking of horns from their rides that’s for sure. It’s looks laid back .It’s not by anyway like Brazil or Colombia. Or am I getting old? LoL......

I lost my virginity on my 20th there lol. I been to Costa Rica 13 times. Just found out it’s closed just now when I went to make reservations. That dome in the backyard at the park at the beginning of the video I left some of my sisters ashes on her first anniversary. I stay at hostel Pangea a lot. 1-11-22

@@deadcell1 thanks for the update. I just tried finding more information on it and now it says it’s opening Feb 9th which is tomorrow. I am going to Houston the 19th where my sister lives. Maybe I’ll have to sneak in a trip to the del Rey. Lol. My sister is a flight attendant and so I have flight benefits. 2-8-22

Stayed at that hotel on the left at the end of the video. The city of San Jose is nothing special, the city is more like a hub of Costa Rica with people labding at the airport and quickly heading out to the countryside. A good restaurant in San Jose is mirando ram Luna, overlooks the city.

This hotel it's very popular for tourists who come to Costa Rica to drink play and looking for underage girls like the guy showing a place as disgusting as This, so if your husband's boyfriend wife or girlfriend tells you they are coming to a nice hotel they coming to get drugs underage kids and alcohol don't let them fool you. They may come back with a wear illness it is not from the rainforest but from their own filthy life's.
