It was an extremely special hotel! Couldn’t fault it at all, aside from that shelf right next to the bed 😄 An amazing experience and well worth the money!

I went here a couple of months ago, loved the theming and decor of the hotel and the whole Park, FLY was fly, black mamba 👍 but I didnt experience good customer service, the check in guy was great but the rest 🤨 not one smile, the food was ok, but the QR code thing was annoying as we don't take our phones to dinner its rude! The waitress had to reluctantly give us her phone, we got a couple of G and Ts in the bar and when it was our turn in the restaurant we took our drinks with us only to be chased down by a bar tendor telling us we had to pay for the drinks before leaving the bar? As you can only leave the restaurant via the bar what's up with us paying as we leave? We got a cocktail bowl was ask with or without alcohol we said with, it had little or no alcohol in it and too sweet. Yes the cabins are small and we expected that but my husband kept banging his elbows on the shelf, great shower though. All in all it was an experience but we won't be returning.

Yeah I agree that the way food is ordered could definitely do with being looked at - it can be a confusing experience and the beds are quite tight 😅 Those shelves are a pain! When I visited, the exit out into Rookburgh was open from the restaurant at the back so maybe that’s why the bartender needed you to pay for your drinks? Possibly… Shame you didn’t have the best experience as it’s a fantastically themed hotel in a great location, but I’m glad you still enjoyed the park 😊

Knew I should have booked this when I go in 2 weeks. Seems like an absolute bargain. All the more reason to go back!

Depends which airport you’re flying to? The closest is Cologne I believe, but I’ve never flown into that airport so not sure of the options. It’s relatively close to the park though so I’m sure it would only be a short train or taxi journey away.

Do you have to do the first day at the park on the day of check in and then day 2 on the day of check out? Or can you check in and then do the park on the following 2 days?

Unfortunately it’s the former, which can make things difficult depending on where you’re travelling from. They will happily hold your luggage though until you have finished your first day at the park and are ready to check in.

@@_adventureplanet luckily the flight from Manchester is at 7:30am landing at 9am in Cologne so can get to the park before 11am! Happy times!

I believe Rookburgh is always open in the evenings to guests staying at the hotel 😊 It’s an amazing sight!

Hi Yasmin thanks for watching. Yes you book a time slot for both breakfast and dinner on arrival. I believe when I stayed, dinner started from 7pm 😊
