I grew up in Mexico and live in the US. I forget to lock my doors.

I just hate that they always put second male leads who are secretly in love with the female lead for ages but somehow don't have the balls to just tell her. Instead they wait until the male lead fucks up and then try to emotionally blackmail and manipulate them by saying stuff like "if you really love her, give her up bc I won't hurt her like you did". Most of the time it works and the male lead acts like he doesn't love the woman anymore bc he thinks that's the "manliest" things to do which hurts her even more. It's so chauvinistic bc the woman damn well knows for herself what is good for her and what isn't. If they really care for her they OWE it to her to to lay their cards on the table and to tell her how they feel and then the woman can decide what she wants to do. The world would be shit if the men would decide amongst themselves which woman belongs to each of them.

He did. Yes he played her at first, but that was due to his sister part. He eventually was sincere to her and asked her marry him. They were happy together. Then the sister was mad and wanted to hurt her brother by telling the lady he was playing her. On top of that she's way older then him she was 40 he was 25.
