Yeah! The new cobra module is super cool, shame that you can still cheese on the old one with a shortcut.

I haven't upgrade this car yet to ultimate but I heard it's pretty good too!

i enjoyed your hot wheels gameplay so much and ngl the soundtrack you used sounds better than the original game, subbed!

Thanks for the sub!!! And yeah, the soundtrack of the game is alright but I felt like the ost of other racing games do more justice to the gameplay!

These are pretty tough, but the drift master extreme challenges are insane in comparison, at least for me. Most extreme events I can finish on my first or 2nd try, time trials can take a few more tries than that, but drift masters feel like they take hundreds of tries for me to beat. I'm slowly chipping away at them, but damn dude. It's so easy to lose your multiplier, and depending on how far on the course you are, losing your multiplier once basically requires a reset.

hahaha Just made a video with the original drift challenges on extreme, some of then can be insane (Glacial Drift). For me, the last 5 that unlock when you finish the campaing, the one were you have to use an off road vehicle is by far the worst!!!

@@Suprasumo93 Yeah, I just saw that. Yeah the off road one gave me a lot of trouble, and the one currently giving me trouble is the gas station one where you have to get like 1,750,000 points or something like that. I've hit at least over 1,600,000, but not quite to 1.75 mil. yet.

Ok, two outcomes here. If these don’t count for 100%ing the campaign, then I’m skipping these. If they DO count for 100%ing these… F*ck.

they dont count for the 100% completion thankfully. think of these as bonus missions for after the story. i would still do them since they give out tons of exp and coins 3-5k each mission for coins and about 1.5k to 3k exp

@@AuraSonic12 At least it doesn't count towards 100% completion, still neat they give out good rewards. I'm not even there but i can already tell that trying to do these at 30FPS (I'm on a launch PS4) is gonna be a pain in the butt versus doing those at 60 because of the input lag.

another good heavy duty vehicle for these events is surprisingly night burner with the fact it has the highest in class handling with 5 boost charges

I did the Heavy Duty speed trial with the Volkswagen Drag Bus, did the drift trial with the Deora II. I seem to have better, more consistent drifts with cars that have *less* handling, strangely enough.

Yep! I have that one at Ultimate too! Thought that if it was great on the first game it should be just as good in the second, wasn't wrong!

Nice 303 tunes. Thanks for the vid. Some of these took you 30 mins? Some took me and bewareofbears days. Just realised you haven't included the drifter challenges. All these are straight forward compared to them!

0:44 I should have named that livery Tech Tuner 2001. I didn't knew that. I was like 6 when I got this one.

Yeah, I love that one, my seconf favorite castings of the MS-T Suzuka. The Tech Tuners from 2003 was just a great series.

I completely them thanks to you I completed end of the line After 4-5 tries whereas I completed underpass After at least 40 tries 😅

They're definitely more difficult than the first game, especially with way less shortcuts than before. Also, I found out that boosting during drifts in drift challenegs speeds up your point gain, which made those way easier.

Yep! It's one of the best ways to gather some points but sometimes it can be very risk!

You're not only one who thought some of these time trials were hard. At 15:11 that to me was the hardest one imo.

4 greens for the Extra Speed Perk ( Maximum Grip, Lightining Dash, Lightweight and Improved Dash) and 4 blue ones (Phase Inverter and Upgrade Boost)

Way 2 fast!! I still might have that one at my grandmas

Any advice on the drift challenges or the waypoints?

I just finished a drift video challenge. Gave a few tips on how to tackle those events. For waypoints, try to take a vehicle with a good amount of boost chargers (4 or more) and don't be afraid to take fly if needed (you can avoid a lot of the obstacle if you can keep yourself in the air)

Wait do you have to beat these too to get the unobtainable Twin Mill III? If so oh boy i am not gonna have a great time. Especially me struggling with drift challenges alone.

A bit off topic, but what are each of the best cars in the game from a pure performance perspective? Best balanced, drifter, off road, etc.....?

I don't have all the cars with the perks, but from the ones I tried it: Rocket: DAVancenator, Balanced: VW Golf GTI, Off Road: Audi Quattro, Swift: Fiat 500 STH, Heavy Duty: VW Drag Bus and Drifter: Surf N' Turf.

First time trial i have beaten with the duck on my first playthrough. Doing a challenge run (only allowed to use the starter vehicles) and have reaxh the finish line in 1:54 and 1:55, both times i have flew over the finish line and had to respawn to just before the finish line and miss the 1:59 by a couple of seconds. Is this a well known glitch?
