I’ve been collecting for god knows how many years now….. got hundreds of cars on my wall, but I haven’t bought a single mainline in years. My wall is about 90% RLC cars :) multiples of most from the past 7 or so years. The mainlines and premiums start taking up so much room, so quickly too. I’ll only ever pick up supers or chases!

Actually quite smart, never know when you may need to file an insurance claim. I’m a collector myself an am always updating my collection an as I do take new pics an add in new values. I’ve been at it for 25yrs an some pieces I honestly be lucky to find again an if so….never pay what I paid for them 25yrs ago. Thanks for sharing! 👍😁

Great collection man! Thanks for sharing, I love seeing videos like this as I am a collector myself. I will say I think you undervalued your collection pretty significantly, I estimated your "money shot" at around $5k and that was the HW's only.

I have always been a carded collector so I do not have a whole lot open. I only open something that I have at least one carted also if I do open it at all. It has never been about money for me, but one day my son will be able to sell all of this stuff and make a pretty nice penny. I do pick things up that are a good deal, For instance at the flea market I picked up 3 blue kmart exclusive 620s for five bucks, Not a bad purchase at all and one day he will make a few bucks.

Looking back, would you keep set up your collection with STH carded and a loose STH or a STH carded with the mainline loose? Maybe even wheel swapped or customized.

Ok if that's the case why don't you trade a super for a premium and help collectors out? You won't, let's all be honest here and understand that these cars do hold value. Whether or not the owner decides to sell it for crazy prices and scalpes everything is a different story. Don't be so quick to judge.

I actually consider my Jun Imani custom 510 the grail…but the Japan Conv 510 is up there too

NP, it’s Factory Sealed with a sticker on the card and only comes from the Hot Wheels Master sets that are usually limited out of /1000ish

How did you hang them? How do I know what ones are worth more so I need to plastic case them?

I just use peg nails. I talk a lot about car values on my channel and eBay sold listings is a great place to search values. You don’t have to protect all your cars, but the higher dollar ones I’d recommend it 👍

@@DieCashCars - That division is pretty underwhelming. The Vikings are kinda a phony 5-1, and who really expects Detroit or Chicago to be a contender this year. I say they sign/trade for a new receiver for Aaron before the deadline.
