    you could at least put the tips of the of the axel you cut on the other side so it looks better or "untouched". I'd rather drill the rivets of any car than put super glue on a RedLine or RealRiders wheel tho.....

  • @Honkytonkitis
    @Honkytonkitis9 жыл бұрын

    You could also save that end that was snipped off and then super glue it on the outside of the wheel if you are going to leave the car out of the blister. Very nice idea in this video. I will definately try it.

    this idea actually works very well. is many years ago I had an old Hot Wheels car that the wheels and axles are so bent is that the bottom of the car drag the ground and it never rolled straight... so I snipped the wheels off of it and then replaced them with the wheels from a previously damaged car... the end result? a restored car that rolled like a brand new Hot Wheels car... my only question is... what is the purpose of putting the car back on the blister card?

    Great job! It's quick, its easy, and more importanly. The Hot Wheel remains in most of its original form, which is what I care about the most. Its like buying a classic car, and removing its original parts or components. In terms of a value, the car is no longer in its original form, therefore, the car becomes less desireable to a collector. I believe the above to be true with Hot Wheels. The more you customize a Hot Wheel, the less desirable it is, and/or become in the eyes of a Hot Wheels collector. I have a question. Other than the Dremel itself. What other tools and drill bit pieces do you use to remove the axles from the Hot Wheels?
