Hot Water Pressure Washer in Transit Van

We built up this van mounted hot water pressure washer system for a local facility services company. They will be using this mostly for restaurant hood vent cleaning but this rig would be right at home doing sidewalks or other vehicles. Because this rig will be used where there is a water source, carrying a water tank was not needed and space was saved in the van for equipment and chemical storage. We started by mounting a commercial grade Landa PGDC hot water pressure washer that puts out 5 gallons per minute at 3500 psi. This is fed by a garden hose reel with 100 feet of industrial garden hose that should last a long time. The pressure hose is stored on an electric rewind reel. There is capacity for 500 feet of hose so getting up on roof tops will be no problem. The pressure washer is vented through the roof and is weather sealed. The vent has a switch that will shut off the burner just in case the operator forgets to open the vent. All this power is wrapped up in a compact package that can go about anywhere.

Does the fumes cause issue after you roll out?
No buffer tank needed?

Safe to assume that the side door being open and the back doors as well does not provide enough ventilation therefore the vent is needed? Just curious

The diesel burners put out a tremendous amount of heat straight up towards the ceiling of the vehicle. This in itself would be a fire hazard. Also, it's not uncommon for the burner to let out a puff of smoke when it starts up. Over time, the soot will collect on everything in the truck. We have seen un-vented systems where everything inside is black.
Do you need to have the big motor in the back to run the industrial round bottom washer?

Yep. The pressure washer is connected to the surface cleaner.
Does you guys put any special matt under the machine? To avoind wather in the van.

We did not. The van has a rubber matt. Since we bolted to the floor and the factory mat, we didn't find it necessary to do any additional water proofing. We do commonly use a Rhino Truck Bed lining on vehicles without any waterproofing.

The electric rewind reels are incredible. These vehicle mounted units are custom built to suit the cleaning needs and budget but this one cost just shy of $12k
Does the burner radiate a lot of heat inside the van?

It gets warm in there. Both cargo doors need to be open when running

@@truealpha7439 We are in Memphis, TN. the Stack itself runs $536 but you may need additional parts. We could put this together to vent out anything that would use an 10" Vent
