The only version of that I could see is at the point of the battle when his suit gets punctured by doomsday’s thingie. Supes doesn’t really take much physical looking damage in that fight, but maybe an extra head sculpt or two of his hair down when fighting Batman and another one with the scar he gets from the kryptonite spear.

How random the paint on the S is coming away. That was never an issue on the BVS And a worse cape I do wonder sometimes with hot toys this has been delayed 2 years and it's tech worse than the prev version

Something about this figure is blinding me off its few problems. Absolutely love the vibrancy, even if it's not completely movie accurate, and I love the anatomy and headsculpts. The eyes are very vibrant looking. Think that the wider jaw may be because of him clenching his teeth, which does make the jaw a bit wider. Again, amazing figure and great review.

Great video Justin. I’m gonna start my DC collection, wich superman did you recomend? BvS or JL, I like better the S symbol in the chest with the BvS (bigger and maybe not that fragile in paint), but I really like the second head sculpt from the JL.

Mine just arrived from Sideshow this week. Its my first Hot Toys figure. Do you recommend keeping these figures in a display case all the time to prevent from dust and debris and increase durability? Also do you remove batteries from the compartment when not using the light up feature?

I now have to turn my volume to the max and depending on my background it's been more difficult to hear your videos lately. Same on multiple devices that I use. This really stands out because your volume levels used to be noticeably good and easier to hear compared to other reviewers. Just wanted to make you aware. Please keep up the great work.

I bought this and the Man of Steel version off of eBay and I must say I like this version more. I think he looks spot on to Henry. The ankle thing doesn’t bother me. I have mine displayed on the stand with the feet pointing down. I do like the cape more on the MoS version more though. It just feels better.

Amazing look. Can’t say enough good things about the chrome brighter blue. The legs tho. He did have huge thighs in the movie but not this massive. Really does lose a bit protruding out so much to skinny calves. Will be picking up in March.

Justin's Collection buy satin or gloss and it will be Ok, I use it for models/miniatures and Krylon finish is the best for metal paints and chrome powders.

What you lack in showing in articulation you make up with comparison. A+

It's a beautiful figure, but I've never been a fan of the cape without the yellow 'S', because without it, it's just a red bedsheet. Also, of the hundreds of figures I have, mostly Superman, none have a cloth cape, I deplore them, they make the figure look cheap.

Forbidden Planets prices are ridiculous IMO I've no idea what they're charging but I'm getting mine for $260 free shipping, in UK pounds it will be £197 shipped. If I were you I'd check around for cheaper sellers. But it's up to you.

If you were worried about dirt, I'd go darker so you can hide stains. Otherwise a bright blue suit would probably put people at ease when they are freaking out.

what funny is Superman is almost everyone's fave character, including me, I mean who doesnt like that epic and charismatic character? now i'm not really into star wars (missed the first six movies that people say the best ones and I only watch the last 2 movies, which yeah, they suck big time), but let's say I only have limited budget to buy only one Hot Toys, I'd go for a Kylo Ren over Superman in this video and not because his movie is still fresh on cinemas
