Time PO it’s the only genuine way to go. Everything else is bs.

What I like that said show did years ago was when we had the unveiling of the Arena Boba Fett and they told you on their live stream that there is a time frame that if you want to pre-order it pre-order it now and it will be free shipping and they had a time clock and that gave me enough time to buy that figure when it was available for free shipping if you didn't get it will you have it available but there will be shipping cost that type of way of doing it was really good compared to how they're doing it now where it's basically they're forcing you to buy the figure or else wait list

That idea of Sideshow giving customers who buy a lot membership pay $5 a month which I doubt it would be $5 it probably would be $40 or something like that no different than the fan Super Fan membership where you get access to buy Comic-Con tickets before the regular General Public well considering I can't even handle their newsletter very good or giving people the notification that certain figures are up for pre-order at a timely manner you find out 15 minutes late source it would be hard for them to have that membership go strong in a timely manner honestly have an app what you can do these pre-orders

CT's rant was freaking Epic!! Holy hell he is funny as fuck, but does make valid points about the Q lol. I pretty much don't bother with the limited stuff cause it's to much of a headache lol

I have been buying (preorders for all…I pay the FUCKING IRON PRICE!!!) from SSCs since Hot Toys model kits. I have the original fugly Jedi Luke and ALL THE SSCs Star Wars figures.

I mean if you buy a new phone now , it’s not gonna have the same value next year when there’s a new model out and you have used yours for a year . Why would you assume it should be different for mass produced dolls ?

What's wrong with 30 day timed releases?? People have 30 days to preorder the "exclusive " figure and whatever number is pre-ordered that's the number. And make the NRD higher to avoid cancelations. It's a proven system that works.

Also on the point of value collecting, if your still collecting expecting hot toys to be valuable down the line, your playing a sucker's game. Between re-releases ,2.0, and slight upgrades most old figures won't be worth half of what you paid. Treat figs like cars, buy with the intent of using and displaying them and one day if you sell, hopefully you can make a LITTlE money back to cushion the blow. Stop investing in Hot Toys!!
