I’m really looking forward to these guys. I never got the chance to get the original Sideshow Fives & Echo Arc Trooper 1/6 figures and they have become impossibly expensive. Thank god for these Hot Toys versions of Fives & Echo. Definite day 1 preorder 😅 I already placed my orders at Sideshow.😊 They’ll look great with Jesse.

Those sideshow ones are now drastically dropping in price now too with the news. Funny to watch people try to push out the old stuff before the new get in

Highly doubt they will fix the helmet issue, look at phase 1 helmets. Plus they already have the mold from the Umbra

Yeah I doubt it too. But umbra was like an instant release and these have a while to wait so that’s my only hope

What I am noticing now: Diamond chin both wrong I think they will fix that but why has Fives those wrong lines on the side of the helmet and Echo don’t? I hope they will tweak that on both figures. Shouldn’t be to much of an issue for them as it’s already right on Echos helmet and the diamond chin will be easy to do.

@@ThatMetroMania I understand that they don’t have the diomond chin because they already have the mold but why does Fives have the wrong lines and Echo doesn’t? Makes no sense to me really and they would look stupid next to eachother like that

@@ThatMetroMania I don’t think they are perfect. I am no clone nitpicker but the helmet is wrong. The pegs on the side should be flat(they will probably leave it like that that you can attach accessories), the diamond chin (isn’t a big deal for me) and the lines on fives helmet. Especially on companion pieces I expect consistency. Also the pleather pieces are not that great. They could have used fabric straps like the umbra trooper has and sculpted the ammo pouch for longevity. Consistency in Hot Toys clones isn’t there that’s why I’m not picking up Appo. He has the ROTS pauldron and it looks weird besides these clone wars pauldrons.

@@ThatMetroMania I mean they‘ve fixed Vaughns helmet from the wrong prototype and Vaughn is no way near as popular as Echo and Fives

I hate that they are using pleather straps and ammo pouches

@@malekith8447 hot toys will do everything in their power to use pleather instead of leather. Even tho it seems to change the price insignificantly as Wolverine displayed

@@ThatMetroMania I don’t care If they use pleather on figures like Vader who they will re issue every now and then but niche characters like named 501st clones should last. They could have made the Straps fabric and the pouch sculpted plastic. Will pick them Up nonetheless
