This is a quick how to repair a USB cable or any cable with heat shrink tube.
When you have wires exposed due to fraying or torn protective cover over the wires, the heat shrink tubes make a fast job of fixing the issue and it looks a lot better then electrical tape wrapped around it.
You can use a lighter or hair dryer to shrink the tube but I have a heat gun that I use at home for projects so it worked out really nice.
