Hot Spring Oasis in Baja: Our Last Stop Valle de Guadalupe - The BEST Campsite of the Whole Trip
In today's video, we head to Canyon de Guadalupe Hot Springs. We visited this spot in 2021 in our van and couldn't want to go back. It is a magical place with private hot spring pools at each campsite. The oasis has fresh water cascading down the canyon, and the hot water is from a natural geothermal source. We really enjoyed this as our last stop in Baja and it was very difficult to leave. We're testing out our Tune M1 Truck Camper on the 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2.

We love it there, it's a very special place. Such a contrast to the rugged and dry scenery in most of Baja. And the hot springs are such a nice experience

So far are you happy with the move to the ZR2 + Tune over the van? For a couple with 1 kid would you recommend a mid size or full size truck with the Tune?

Thanks for watching! Overall, yes. It's definitely a big change but we knew we wouldn't be full time anymore and wanted 4x4 to go further. We also use the truck to haul water to our property among other things. I'm torn on the full size vs mid size situation. We were hoping for better fue l economy in a mid size but I have this feeling that it doesn't matter that much once you put a camper on. My gut feeling is that the bigger engine in a full size works less once loaded so it doesn't mess with them as much. I could be totally wrong though. The space would be nice but I think I'll always choose mid size so we can fit down tight forest roads easier. I hope that helps.
