How to turn off the mixing setting.
If your Lake Reaper steering and throttle are operating at the same time or it seems your servo may be twitching when going forward or in reverse then more than likely the mixing setting is turned on.
This is a setting which can accidently be turned on when turning the handset on, as the number ’3’ button is very close to the on/off button and when pressed down together it turns on this setting.
In this video we show how the boat will operate with and without this setting turned on and also show how to turn this setting off.
We have seen/heard this described as a fault with the handsets, when really its a setting which just needs turning off.
The main thing to look for is the single red light on the handset. If you ever see a green or blue light next to the red light in the middle of the handset then there is more than likely a setting turned on which will effect the performance/control of the boat.

Hello, thank you for this. Do you know if any of the buttons, the trim buttons next to power, or any of the 3, 4, 5, 6 can be used as momentary switches and how to control those? I am using this for my trolling motor, and I want to use the joystick for forward and reverse, which I've figured out, and left and right for steering, figured out. I'd like to operate a linear actuator for raising and lowering my motor out of the water. I can do it with the left and right joystick for now, but would like to be able to utilize the other buttons for that so I can use left and right for steering. Can you help me with this please?
