They should charge for the game rather than offering it for free.

I don't know where you got all this information about bp but a lot of this is pretty incorrect i would recommend you update this. 1.We haven't been getting update from the developers in NA for the last 6 months last update we got from Amazon was 8-9 months ago, JP has been getting regular update from the last year. and literally today is the 1 year anniversary for BP with a huge update that they are treating like a relaunch for the game in jp. 2. AGS hasn't confirmed anything about they will be releasing BP after lost ark and New world that is just speculation from players not amazon themselves. unless i missed something but i never saw any announcement about that. 3. the guandan game you talked about didn't grow their revenue its one of the many revenue eaters if is the hero shooter they released about 2 years ago that is probably going to get shutdown 4. State of insolvency doesn't = Bankruptcy 5. The money situation has nothing to do with the Delayed launches for Global version, from what we understand the devs want the game to have a lot more content before Global launches since they want it to be as successful as possible. so in a sense we get the complete version of the game or 1 year worth of content that Jp has already. Finally it is not as DOOM as these articles make it out to be they are just dramatizing it I highly recommend you or anyone read the article interview with devs about what went wrong with the launch of BP by automation media which i'm pretty sure they did because of all these click bait articles coming out about the studio going bankrupt

Let’s see: Bandai Namco is known for iconic games like "Tekken," "Pac-Man," "Dark Souls," and "Dragon Ball," collaborating with top developers for high-quality releases despite challenges like inconsistent game quality and aggressive monetization. Meanwhile, Amazon Game Studios, backed by Amazon's resources and AWS tech, faces competitive pressures and management issues BUT has potential for innovation and community engagement via Twitch. For "Blue Protocol," Amazon's financial strength and tech access could mean smoother development and better player interaction, potentially outpacing Bandai Namco's legacy issues and development hurdles. So in a way, Blue protocol will be in better hands if Amazon takes over the development and IP.

Namco-Bandai: > Bans all foreign english players from Japanese Server > Gives Amazon rights to North American Version, is delayed and severely censored > Loses money > Bandai-namco: WHY ARE WE LOSING MONEY?!?! MASAKA!!!!

the next update is called Beyond and it's supposed to bring lots of changes to the game so we'll see maybe Bandai is waiting for that to release globally, even Smilegate has rescheduled the Korea release

the problem of this game is that it looks good in trailers only. the real game is MMO 101 as it can be in the most bad way. lots of the old anime mmo of the 2010's was much more interesting games. this games problem is that all the classes but one (the most new one) are boring to play . they are to slow and most of the time you will use normal attack as skills are on way to long CD. the world is small as it can be. you basically have 2 areas that broken in to sub areas . so there no felling of you being in a WORLD. the game be better if it was a dungeon crawler to be honest. then the dungeons are the most brain dead in mmo ever. just run to the last boss ignore all trash as you are OP as fuck. there no end game .no pvp. so what's there to hope for really? no wonder the game failed when it go VS FF14 or even PSO2:NGS that is a better anime mmo. that at the start have the same problems but did have one of the most fun combats in mmo ever. so i bet by the start of next year end of this they will shut down the game and the department that work on it.
