I was online browsing just last night and was so surprised to see several luxury brands bringing out their own versions of the UGG boot. In my mind just stick with the OG’s and save your money for other luxury pieces

I don’t know, Cassie. Uggs are sort of a NorthEast US staple. They are what you throw on your feet for a quick run to the bodega. I also have bald Ugg slippers. I end up getting a new pair every year to get the coziness back. On another note, I have a late September trip to Paris planned and I am allowing myself one thing. You keep making me change my mind! Hi Cassie! When UGG boots first came out, I did not like it at all. But, now, I am a fan of UGG boots. I own a lot of these, the original version! There are new ones now but I still prefer my old ones. It is not pleasing to the eyes but so comfortable to wear.

I’m not going to lie…..I love me some UGGs. I have several pairs and find them the most comfortable boot and they work well for me in Canada. That being said, I’m not going to pay Bottega prices for Uggs. I don’t think there is enough of a difference in look or probably quality. If I’m paying close to 1k (probably more in Canada) I want there to be a clear difference.

They have UGGs with a sole similar to the one used by Bottega and Chelsea boots are available as well.

The deal about the ugg boots is the part of luxury I really don't understand. I mean this for real. I have the cuttest ugg's with a strap/buckle, just the right height, short, but not too short. Paid $100 - $150 I think over a deacde ago. Worn daily for a short time each day indoors only, they are still great, soft inside, they don't feel or look dirty, and still my favorite style. I wouldn't buy this pumpkin color due to it showing the dirt but that's a personal choice and not my question. My question is why is BV name more valuable than that $1K, when Ugg's are so well known to be a quality product,? Also, I believe Ugg created this style, so they are the designer. This one by BV is a knock off. i really don't get it?
