It's not a mini It's not a mini countrymen it's too big it's not got wooden trim it's just another BMW hatchback

Most cars, these days, are much of a muchness. The car has reached a peak of development, in my view. They are all infinitely better in every respect than those that I remember. All that is left is badge-engineering and this car is a prime example of that. Don't worry about it - just enjoy the excellence of today's cars and make your own choice based on your own prejudices

Even though I haven't been in one or seen one, I feel it's more cramped on the inside as it looks (I'm around 6'6/ 198cm tall)

You should not have a problem. I have the New Countryman. I’m 6’4” and have about 4 ins of headroom.
