It's not in the nature of li'er to be imprisoned in a palace, surrounded by jealousy and hatred. She grew up freely, wandering and fighting. I don't know whether I can ever accept the king for her...

MM 的確有可能是在戲中被美化。但，我想，編劇想呈現出不同角度的人物讀法，也蠻有意思的。人物本來就是立體的。我們看嬴政，他有不同的處事與性格，當他處死看守麗姬不當的守衛，而對可能是親生父母的不忍與矛盾，對麗姬的眷戀與被傷害，我們可以帶入。自然，荊軻的理想人格，與玻璃心，還有無法接受麗姬與自己越走越遠的劇情，都是編劇想呈現出來，人物的立體影像。

Queen Cherry he is still lenient to her. She is very fond of her senior so far I don't know how they will manage to make the switch of her heart towards the king works seamlessly in the drama. She has absolutely zero feeling for him and her love for her bro is too deep !

I really hope as the story progresses Gongsun Li reveals more of her sword fighting and martial art skills... Like lead an army or at least not be stuck in the palace as a lousy concubine.

The writer forget about that sword technique..He focused now in the love battles of the King and the 2 senior brother and the concubines fighting for power and favor.

There are obviously a lot of English-speaking fans. I'll be glad, too, when there are English subs. I love this series!!

Uhh I'm glad u stated slightly cos they are different the lead xters are reversed here the emperor Is capable as opposed to the one in Empress ki. For me I prefer empress no cos I enjoyed almost every bit of it I only enjoy the emperor's scenes I fast forward jing ke's part like I did that of the goryeo king in Empress Ki . But I enjoyed the ladies schemes in Empress Ki more than the ones done here
