Only when losing someone you love, the king will understand the pain of it. Great respect to all the people who has been sacrificed. I feel so bad for Gongsun Li, was lied to and had to witness the deaths of people she cared for. (Director did an amazing job instead of always having a happy ending, showed us the reality of history)😭🫡

She created this problem with lies and self serving righteousness that ended killing everyone that she loved. Child it's so many things she did that was wrong that started this ball of mess to turning. She was not an honest person and because she was stubborn and impulsive she deserved her ending. Every character she plays has this attitude.

There are other versions of this specific era in history with different endings. The King of Qin that united China into one country really did an outstanding job to unify China, but sacrificed so much, too. He is portaryed as a mad king, a tyrant, etc. in this version.

I am SO angry that you killed off Han Shen. He didn’t deserve it. He was the most noble character in the whole show.

The ending is really sad!! What Ying Zheng had for Ling Er is no longer love, it’s more like obsession filled with jealousy and disbelief.

Now imagine how many skilled people it takes to create an actual size throne room take the footage of one scene with so many different angles and an actual sword stabbing and dying scene where the sword needs to come out of the actress without actually harming her. The only thing about the ending which makes me feel better is the fact that he's gonna live the rest of his life with the pain of killing the ones who care for him! He deserves that pain 😏

I watched all the episodes. All the actors' performances are magnificent, sets, costumes, special effects are wonderful. Great story. History that shows reality. We must have a balance between reason, emotion, attitudes. Zhang Bin Bin is very talented. Spectacular performance. Congratulations to the entire team that worked on this drama. 👏👏👏👏

Here for Dilraba, doesn't matter how many times I rewatch this drama, my heart aches for Han Shen not able to end up with Li Er, he was the only male protagonist that truly had Li Er in his heart with no excuses.

I have watched all 48 parts of this series. The actors in this are the best that I have ever seen. Because of their excellent portrayal in each scene, I laughed when it was happy and was brought to tears in the sad scenes many times. Thank you for bringing this to youtube, there are no good movies in America any more.

Can we talk about how easy it was for him to decide to kill and betray her...while she thru out every thing protected him..

no human in this world who have multiple woman's or men's will truly love anyone ...so not the one who have a harem ...and my advice if anyone have a partner who likes to keep in touch often with people from opposite sex that's a clear sign, that person don't really loves you , that your'e only an option for that time, that person will avoid informing the opposite sex that its in a relationship and most of the time will flirt with others or even worst .., they will easily clear their fake feelings like you never existed ...or sometimes they will keep some kind of connection because they know if its possible that could always be there for them in need ... , they will not protect your feelings , only protect themselves and own interests , they will always blame you , find excuses and lie...

Loved the story and can understand the philosophy behind the ending, but I still wish it had a happy ending where he couldn’t kill her either. Took almost a whole box of tissues to get through all the episodes, especially the last two. I am now addicted to these shows, please do more with happier endings.

This is an AMAZING complex drama! Thank you for the subtitles! Hats off to the AMAZING cast and writers! Zhang Binbin acting skills are AWESOME!! A very exciting and amazing story. Full of learnings and life's realization. This story happens in everday life. The writers diectors the team productions are splendid. Wow! I really admire Zhang BinBin's acting very emotional besides being very cute expressive eyes. The 2 boys and the 2 girls are really awsome. Is this really true story? Bullying and bad experiences on chilhood really have a great effect on a person. I pity the king who is devoid of love and affection. Trust versus mistrust. Thank you. Binbin is a skillful actor. I watched it because of him. Such a complex character!ruthless cold blooded manipulative king perfectly played by Zhang Binbin. King is obsessed with Li er, he doesn't love her. He is possessive, obsessive, jealous, unkind, brutal towards her. Though she never cheated on him nor she is disloyal but he never trusts her. Maybe because he is not a trustworthy person that's why he doesn't trust anyone. Not even Li er.on the other hand Li er is so devoted towards him. She believes his lies about peace and prosperity. She is good that's why she sees good in others. No matter how much dark the king is, she sees light in him. So much contrast in both characters! I ❤this drama. There is no way it could be a happy ending!! The king is an evil maniac. He doesn't deserve a happy ending...jin ke is also a selfish egoistic character. Han shen is a balance character.he is brave, selfless. He is best for Li er. They should have kept him alive. I feel sorry for him.

Yeah always the evil ones are left to live. Good people die early. Even in real life. That's why it's hard to be a hero because heroes always dies for the sake of the world/people/country.

Qing Er...what a sneaky witch!! There was no one in that palace that Li Er could ever trust. Hate that Han Shen died...he was my favorite!

Came for Zhang Binbin and was not disappointed. Such a dramatic story, all the scenarios, costumes, choreographies are magnificent.

I can't stop my tears in last 2 episodes... I hope there is someone who take Li er body and God give her a miracle to live and be together with Tiang Ming... And they live secretly in nowhere untill the King's find out that Li er is alive....Hoping for Season 2.....plsssss.. Another Drama for Zhang Bin Bin and Dilraba plsssss....

They actually loved each other. His jealousy, insecurity and rage ruined everything, his one chance at happiness. PS: it's clear that he has PTSD due to his traumatized childhood. And he was ready for them to kill each other, to die at her side. Lol. Jing Ke probably was thinking that he should not have saved that young boy when they were still a kid. That young boy took everything from him and grew up to be a "monster".

Then she saves his life 2times after she forces to marriage him. That is no excuses to kills just because of your traumatized childhood!!! The story was totally amazing specially the chemistry of king and li and even all the other characters were amazing specially Han Shen who reflected the protagonism in the whole play .... I am really going to miss this but really want Zhang bin and dilraba in another story...

Desperately wanted a happy ending despite knowing it's not possible. How could Qing Er betrayed Li Er like that? In the end,King was left alone. What an Bitter ending.I'm going to suffer for a few days for this bitter ending for sure😑

IMO, Dilraba is a great performer. She acts, emotes, sword fights, martial arts, etc. Huge body of work in about 8 years. The betrayal of Qing'Er may have been the last straw. Ok, on to The Flame's Daughter! ❤

Amazing to know that when filming this, Vin Zhang was so very young, I can even call him a kid. But he has been ashtonishing. Standing ovasion for him.

The ending is so sad but I'm not gonna lie and say I had to use the whole box of tissues to wipe my flowing tears because there were none. I feel so sad that Li Er had to die at the hands of the man she loved but the truth is that she shouldn't have told him that she wanted him dead, that alone was enough to make the king doubt her love for him. She knows the kind of person he is but she still pushed his buttons. I've seen a lot of sad endings but this is the only drama that I feel like everything could've been avoided. I loved the king and his goal to reunite the world was the best, it is just sad that in the end, he had to lose the people he loved because he couldn't trust anyone and now that I think about it, I think he also doubted himself at least two or three times a day. I think the only reason I can't feel sad for Jing Ke's death is that I hate people who can't accept that some things are just not meant to be. He loved Li Er but he isn't the first person to lose someone he loves. Han Shen also loved Li Er, he loved her more than the two of them (The king & Jing Ke) but he didn't linger around because he saw that he didn't have a chance. Great drama btw. Hats off to the cast and crew.

I think u r right I don't see why Li Er could not move on yet she gave Jang ke a chance but he refused to take it not once but twice, yet she eventually found a man who loved and even accepted her illegitimate child. Secondly the King and her had a deal which she accepted.So the King was not a home wrecker there was no home to wreck in the first place n now that Jing ke had a chance to do those greater things which made him reject Li, why again was he wasting time wrecking the King's home? I only feel sorry for the King who grew up with a crezy family making him doubt everyone including himself n a lover who kept telling him that she wanted him dead.... don't blame him for eventually believing her!

I think the issue is after everything they had been through he still DIDNT trust her. You think the feelings they had would have showed exactly how she felt about him. So even if she said “Ill kill you” he should have knew she wasnt serious. He had serious issues with trust and it cost him a lot. Dont get me wrong he was a king but you would think he would have slowly gained trust in the relationship they had. She saved him MANY times.

Cried at the ending. Couldn't believe that she did that but same time, only thing that makes sense. He needed to learn the truth of positive emotions to understand the loss others feel at his actions.

Anyone remember the story of Scarlet Hearts Ryo? The 4th and the 7th prince got involved with the same woman and later impregnated by the 4th prince who became a king and been left alone too? The woman also died in that era. I had watched the Korean version. This A King's Woman has a bit of touch of that drama. I Think this is one of the rarest best costume drama that I have seen considering it's Vince Zhang and Dilraba Dilmurat's team up. Quite engaging

Guess what she knows jing is coming to kill the king that she claims she love but she never tells him

in the end..only han shen deserve li er better than jing ke and ying zheng😭😭but how can this cruel drama have the most perfect ending?? not fair😭😭

This king was still blinded by his delusional emotions. He could have used other approaches to get what he wanted but then, life is usually like this, after WW2 did we in the present day world reflect on our misdeeds. Now most of the people who didn't experience it are pushing for war. This movie is truly a master piece. I commend actors and background personnelsvwho were able to bring this movie to life.🎉👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎉

Saddest ending but love the whole story and the actors did a phenomenal job💜💜…cried my eyes out watching the last episode😭😭…can’t get my head around how the king can betray li even though he loves her like crazy…

unfair fight between jinke and the king since jinke is poisoned yet the king wasn't

Yes, this is cheating!!! He poisons him before the fight!!! What a SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So many of these stories have a heroine that suffers a tragic ending because her man eventually betrays her. In this case, he betrays her over and over. It was frustrating to see her be betrayed so many times

Female lead(madame Li)she's right,love can create also whether in a good way or bad way What we just need is another chance to realize our mistakes and correct it that what I got it through this drama.❤👍

So true. It takes one to lose their loved ones, for them to understand/learn the meaning of loss.

In the end,King could trust anyone. Serve him right.You should suffer in lonliness for the rest of your life. Btw,hats off to the actor who portrayed the King character.I was able to hitched with this lengthy drama because of his great acting skill.❤️

One of the beautiful cdrama i watched although it end up in tragedy.,all the characters teach us gave us each what is life and living is all about, before you appreciate happiness you need to feel the pain..sacrifices if you what to gain something..,also the beautiful and best performance of dilraba dilmurat and zhang bin bin,also salute to those people tirelessly translate this into english language..without you guys we can never appreciate this kind of drama❤😊

So sad and so powerful! I doubt by dying by his sword taught him to know what it is like to kill the one you love and to show mercy and no killing for revenge/power.

How did he pay her back for the kindness she showed him wh er n they were young....he paid back by lies, deceit, betrayal

As the Emperor, he knows already the plan of killing him by Linger and Jinke,.. When Linger admitted that she wants to kill him(the emperor), Nobody can deceive a good emperor,,..

There is no love without trust.Trust is love.The moment one is breaking the trust or starting to doubt there is no endless love.There will be a love which has millions of doubts.Even Jin Ke never had a proper aim throughout the drama.He hardly learnt the Swordmenship but ended up getting no use of it.Atlrast he could have passed it to another generation.But honesty throughout the drama I enjoyed the every episode since its very interesting and there is a big curiosity in each n every episode Honestly I regret that I couldn't watch this before.As a character I love the King so much cuz he is my favourite actor.And there are no words to describe his acting skills.wonderful performance as always..I only missed this drama of his and finally ended that too.The ending is so sad and I cried throughout the episode.vin zhang you are a great actor .a big salute for your acting skills. I LOVE YOU EVERYDAY.

To be honest I was hesitant to watch this drama but after I watch only the first episode I discovered that I was totally wrong. And after finishing the drama,along with a box of tissues,I really regretted waiting until now to watch this unique and incredible masterpiece,especially with Dilraba Dilmurat as the main female lead. Love You Dilraba🌹🌸😍😘😻🌺🌼.

I took notes of my favorite colloquialisms in this series. "Slap him into a pigs head", "Demonic filth", "Get knocked into a cocked hat", and "You put yourself between the devil and the deep blue sea." Also. The King was smart to keep an eye on her with her handmaiden.

another historical drama series of dilraba. she's so great actress. i love her. kudos to the co actors and those behind all this drama. a heartfelt story, a various kind of love. congrats the king's woman production

This was really excellent. It leaves one with a heavy heart and longing for a better ending. But truth be told a good ruler is whom who understands his subordinates. It's also goes to show that how one's choices are far more important that the past and future. What you choose today is what makes you tomorrow and what had been you yesterday. The king of Qin experienced Trauma at a young age. Trauma caused by conflict and war. He was unable to protect his loved ones which led to his wish and goal. Though he is right that by uniting the world there will be peace he has chosen sacrifice to reach his goal instead of an agreement between the states to work together as one. Vin Zhang's acting was exceptional. Acting such a complex character difficult but he did it perfectly. Thank you to all the main actors they were also exceptional and understood the characters well. Thank you to all involved in creation of this drama. Thank you to the director and writer for executing such a thought provoking drama. This is truly one of the best literally work I have known. Faced with may themes and lessons. I have learned a lot. Thank you all the way from South Africa.

The fragments of civil aunts really reflect how tragic and painful the disasters brought to mankind by historical wars! ! Thinking of these tears are dreaming down. It is really difficult to understand without personal experience. Li'er is very kind-hearted since she was a child, so in the end, she would rather sacrifice her life for the King in order to made him become a good king than kill him for revenge for her senior brother. This is the bright moon heart of Li-er- pure and noble!. The King wanted to dominate the world and make the world peaceful, so he had to use benevolent means and don't hurt the innocent. The title of the show interpreted in English should be The Moonlight Heart of the Beauty in Qing, which can truly reflect the deep meaning expressed in the play, that is, only selfless love can make the world peaceful.

I love this drama best of dilebra's acting. Good looking couple. This is Second best chinese drama among the princess agent.

Finally the drama has come to an end,i feel sad for all the good people that lost their lifes,at the end the king is alone and he deserves it😢😢you will know the feeling of loosing ur love one...li Er's words😢😢😢

Saddest drama is “goodbye my princess” but the kings woman is also one of my top ten favorite drama

AMAZING... script &cast, thanks for the subtitles,never expected a tragic ending. I don't like tragedy , even then I followed till the last episode. I was admiring the AWESOME performance of Zhang binbin,WOW you are excellent _the ruthless King of Qin. Started to watch this drama because of the two skilful actors Binbin &Dilraba I like their chemistry,the last words of Li er is really so emotional. Han sen, jing ke are all skilful actors

I couldn't get over of the ending of the story I even cry because of it I didn't expect her maid would betrayed her she even regards her as her sister
