Music and talent is out there . Only those talented people get overlooked by the street thug thing that has taken over our country with their very simple minds and lack of intelligence.
The groups today could learn a lot from these singer they are AWESOME this was a hit in my time I graduations in 1976 an awesome year will all ways remember it as long as I live those were the days and time to remember I loved it.
Fabulous song. I saw lots of bands in 70’s but wasn’t lucky enough to see Hot Chocolate
my single mom was a English teacher, she bought a VCD player in the mid 90s, and near 2000, the university she was working for opened up to US, and few of the foreign teacher came into China started to teach English. One night, my mom invited few blonde, white female English teachers to our home, watching one of the newest movie. It was the first time I met white people in real life. The movie we watched was called , still my favourite movie till today. It wasn't really for kids but as a boy it was ok..., at the end of the movie, this song start playing, All the Americans teachers started to drink beer and dancing with that music, it was a fantasic night for me, was the first time I learn about western culture, white people, and the meaning of "party". I didn't understand the lyrics of this song and the movie back then. But some how now I reflect back on my life, I think this song and that movie played big role in my life. Now I am a 40 year old alcoholic living in Australia, just drank 2L of beer out of my Keg machine and starting to vibe to this music, and I probably regret that I commented on this video next morining, but fxxk that. I am enjoying myself, this song takes me back to the day when my single mom was still alive, all those suprises when I see white people, they are like aliens but they are also so friendly, it was the day when I realize that the world is so much bigger than I imagined and I need to use my limited time to explore it, and I don't know nothing about the world but I am just happy that all humans speak the same language, that is "happy". Now I have been to more than 30 countries, I am still feel the same way about the world, and I took this song with me to many places, and guess what, along with some beer, people, no matter where they from, dance to this music, and they speak the language that I speak too, that is "happiness"
Love love love this song! I first heard it in the film, "The Full Monty" and have enjoyed listening to it ever since then!
So many memories. RIP Errol, you gorgeous man.
