nice rip! I would love to get a hot box but don't want to spend too much trying to get one. Probably stick to the monster boxes. I seen the target monster boxes are not very good with no blue sparkles just some not so great red boarder parallels. I think you passed by a card from the monster box that had no facile auto on the front.

Roger Clemens was the best pitcher since Sandy Koufax. As much as I love Nolan Ryan, he was a .500 pitcher, and Clemens was .667 finishing with 354 wins, one behind Greg Maddux (and .04 better in ERA).

His worst years in the early 90s were due to horrible run support, which followed him to Houston, where he lost out on an 8th Cy Young because, he was 13-8 with a 1.87 ERA, yet the Astros were astoshingly shut out 9 times in games he started. A team that went to the World Series. 9 times. That was even crazier than when Dan Duqette the Boston GM figured Clemens should win 20 games with Mike Greenwell as the best hitter after Mo Vaughn. But to prove it wasn't him, he merely went to a terrible Toronto team and won back to back pitching Triple Crowns, the first in almost 40 years to win one. The guy was insanely good. Oh, one other thing that was so cool about him, he got his 300th win and 4,000th strikeout in the same game, and struck out Sammy Sosa on a 100mph fastball to do it. That sinker he developed later was one of the nastiest pitches of all time.
