I need to blue my BSA airgun. It's long so I have to make a long boiling tank. Copper would be the easiest with ends soft soldered on. Would this impair the job? Also dies the nitriding not affect the rifling? I was thinking of stoppering the two ends.....

Is this color permanent like compney or removable.. if i color the gun like this and then i used it or do firing on it… so the color will be removing or not?

Don't know what compney is, but bluing makes a layer of oxide (like rust, but much more stable). The main use is as a layer of protection against (red) rust, but it should also be oiled because bluing alone is not impervious to rusting - but it helps a lot. Because it is an oxide layer it can be worn off, sanded down, sandblasted or acid-bathed to expose the raw metal. Thats not something you want to often on presicion parts though, because you would be removing a thin layer of metal each time. Its fairly tough and holds up well on tools, but I expect it would eventually wear though on moving gun parts unless everything is kept well lubricated. You can use other chemicals to cold-blue also if you mainly want the esthetics. thats super easy to do with just a brush after thorough degreasing.

Natriumhydroxid: 400 g Kaliumnitrat: 10 g Natriumnitrit: 10 g Wasser: 600 ml When the nitrates gets used up in the process, what it will because those are the main oxidizers add some teaspoon of unslaked lime powder CaOH. That will get the oxidizers back on track. Also you can recharge the oxidizers by adding more of them. Not all steels will show a fine result because of the alloys in them. Here is another clip with good explaination kzread.info/dash/bejne/iIqM2qRvc7K7idY.html
