Go Sarah go!!! My mom fished with me 2 days before I was born 80 years ago and then had me in the boat in a old wicker laundry basket when I was 2 weeks old. Been fishing ever since. Can't wait to see Sarah start taking people out in her boat and making videos. Just a tip, mix just a little bit of self risen cornmeal in with the flour. Best fish to eat especially fried whole but they are great if you want to try them with this recipe. Whole like you did this one and scored on the sides. Place on a baking sheet, salt and pepper to taste, Lay 2 or 3 slices of key limes on the side along with a few slices of onions. Place under broiler and cook until meat turn white (will vary just a little due to size of fish), we use to use the smaller ones this way because they were the right size for a single serving to our guest. Really easy to do and not as much mess to clean up as frying is. Being a old conch I really enjoy you videos. Keep em coming.

Sarah, barracuda are also one my favorite fish to catch in the Florida Keys. We use them for shark fishing like a lot of people do down in the Keys. Good luck with the new baby!

Thats what my son and my self do this saturday!! We fish on marathon and on our way back to miami we stop at bud and mary’s we have some bait left and we feed the tarpons!!! We also saw the freeman in self super clean and nice boat!!!

Sadi is going to be a fishing machine as well. Next gen. Bud and Marys guide...Nick you look as if you have been practicing with that cast net ...keep up the good content. You ought to do a offshore night trip and jig for squid under you hull lights....

Thanks! Too funny to hear about her water breaking on the fishing trip. No practice with the net, just don’t catch live bait very often since we swordfish most charter trips.

They are even better to eat! Try barracuda fried and you will be surprised from the taste!! Bahamians eat them all the time filleted or steaked and fried with jasmine rice and sides. Nice video and they are awesome snapper bait. The meat stays on long and fish loves it!

Happy birthday belated Sara. Capt my wife is Filipino and they catch small barracuda and eat them like we eat the yellow tale and I had it when I was over there was very good. I definitely will come down there after I finish college up. Great video stay safe and tight lines
