Hot Air Gun SMD SOLDERING with Heat Plate PCB Demostration

Soldering the PCB board assembled from Part 1 using a Heat gun and a preheated plate.
I am using the X-Tronic 5040-XR3 Hot Air Rework and Preheat Station. I have set the Preheat plate to 100 degrees Celsius and the heat gun to 290 Degrees Celsius. Be sure to set the appropriate temperature to heat up the solder/solderpaste you are using.

Where do you get your components for surface mounting? Eg. Resistors, chips etc?

I use lcsc for cheap smts, for prototyping I find it easier to have a box set of passives components from aidetek
How about hot air temperature set point ?

I had the heatplate at 100C and the hotair gun at 290C
